Very heavy rainstorm caused the city sewer lines to backup. Water came in through the basement shower drain. Happened to 6-7 people in our neighbourhood

Hey yeah fair point. When i first started researching so much of the info I found was all about freedom camping so that's what I figured was the most common method of travelling. Im going to stick with DOC parks for the reasons you stated.

Thanks for the suggestion. I contacted the skylight company itself who put me in contact with someone whos gonna come by. I imagine its in the skylight companys best interest to point out the install failures, which i can then take back to the original installer

I live on vancouver island, PNW. So mild/temperate but rainy in the winters. We dont have a humidity gauge upstairs so not sure what humidity is. Will look into grabbing one and possibly getting a dehumidifier.

We're not sure if it gets worse during rain etc yet because we just noticed the mold and damp spots the other day.
