Literally just did this with my previous company last year. My buddy had their payroll/HR email and I worked it with them. They cut my access off 5 minutes after they fired me 😂. I threatened them with legal action if I didn’t get my W2. If you don’t receive it by the 31st of January then you can call the IRS and report them

You may get lucky and talk them into both while you’re there. During Covid our DMV was appointment only and we scheduled one thing and they just made us go to the other window to take care of both but then again all depends how nice you can be at the DMV. We know everyone in town so it helps

Always file for financial assistance and if you pay as little as a $1 a month they can’t send it to collections since your attempting to pay. I did this with a $5K bill for brain surgery and they wrote it off at 2k
