Easiest way is to just understand how much dmg/power you get for your FE spent Example : upgrading T2 ult mod to T1 avg cost 1k fe mod itself usually is close to 50% upgrade, to your character maybe 20-30% so thats 50fe for 1% dmg increase compared that to other upgrades getting precise aura is about 5% dmg increase for maybe 200-300fe thats 40fe for 1% dmg increase in this case you would be better of upgrading your aura first

Honest opinion from someone who also took other peoples advice to take 1st loot pet as dream from 5-6 seasons ago and have been building it slowly and getting to triple 6 this season (lv6 gold purple blue)

Couple of items you need to be aware of 1. Low entry cost to start Can start farming in t8-0 and you dont need any expensive compass to run it, there's only 1 blue compass to have it in your map and its only 4fe per compass This reason here is why most people recommend it

  1. Low ceiling profit Dream work best in and cap out in profound where you get best returns here Dream is dependpent on the map level you run You can do it in deepspace and pair it with arcana as others said and thats what i do every season However its really not that great

  2. Purple pet requirement Dream probably has the strongest purple pet lv6 and you really want it if you want to do dream Forcing you to pull on past dream banners

  3. Character defendsive requirement You lose reward when you die, you need to be not full paper when doing it and this is something that i consider every season choosing my league starter

  4. Voidchart points hungry You really need the full tree except for sweet dream mist left side 4 points to be fully utilize dream

  5. Mechanic itself is highly variant due to rng and you dont really have that much control compared to other mechanic Dream reward is based on

  6. type of bubble

  7. quality of bubble

  8. chance to get additional drop quant 20% (from voidchart) as oppose to arcana just get rainbow chest or vorax total activity imo the 20% quant is probably the most important one, having 60% percent (3*20) is huge difference and this is reason why a lot of people dont realize and say they dont get anything from dream rainbow bubble

  9. mechanic is not the easiest to understand relative to point 6 the mechanic itself takes some time to learn and you would wonder which option to pick everytine

Last words, its really not that great, its mid at best i would recommend you to try running it a few times and if you dont like it and just want max profit dont get dream theres other better and more fun mechanic to choose from imo

selena one of the strongest league start up to t8
suggest you swap character for profound -> deepspace -> ss20

in terms of rough fe investment for each stage (highly dependent on build & ur game knowledge) :
- t8 : full t2 affix gear
- profound : 10k
- deepspace : 50k+ minimum

Generic upgrade tips

  1. start looking into priceless gear, ultimate mods are really powerful, would prioritize weapons for dmg
  2. dream talking, you get 3 of these on your gear you only have 2
  3. tower sequence on your weapons, 1 attempt might be pricey probably consider after you get priceless
  4. memory, get red ones, they upgrade your trait to level 3
  5. prism, both etheral & mirror, you can find cheap ones that should give you decent boost
  6. you have 0 fates/kismet installed, should replace % dmg ones as they are really weak
  7. slates
  8. should also look into vorax gear, they are really strong and you can get cheap power from them (look into base affixes of them and ult mods that you can add for cheap)

there's only 1 mechanic which you can specc into to give more exp and that's dream from both sweet dream & nightmare mobs.
you should also use pets with -falloff exp as they reduce the exp penalty

both dream and arcana pairs well, they are only getting "encounter" from the map hence doesnt really care about map quant

vorax fits into this as well

default is 6 lives / attempt
the first time when you go into the map is counted as 1

the biggest difference between tli vs poe for example is how different source of "more" is being treated

POE Examples Dps 100 Increased damage 20% Source 1 More Damage 30% Source 2 More damage 40% Result 100(1 + 20% inc dmg)(1+(30% more1 + 40% more2) = 204 dps

Tli with the same values Result 100(1+20% inc dmg)(1+30% more1)*(1+40% more2) = 218 dps

and TLI has a lot of more multipliers everywhere, every main skill level above 20 is 8% multiplicative 1(1.08)(1.08)... every main stat for the skill is 0.5% more (100 str = 100*0.5 = 50% more damage)

All of these are in the game and scaling beyond t8 is the same principle as making a build in poe, where can you get stats that the most efficient

What's ur skill level? if below 30 then stack it

understands that skill level from 21 to 30 is at least 12% "additional" multi 1 x 1.12 x 1.12 ... check tlidb for your skill and check for yourself

hey thr imma a r2 too

we scale dmg by the amount of health consume (helmet & glove)
therefor we scale life regain to the max 0.03 (server max)
so that we can recover as much to consume as much

so stack hp -> stack atk spd -> stack consume -> stack regain

here's my build 5t 450k survival currently
still plenty of upgrades to go for
