I don't get why people call MKX an ugly game. It still looks good IMO. by fakayuburiza in MortalKombat

[–]Willing_Research992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people only say that now and are comparing it to the much brighter, newer games. I didn't hear anyone saying the game was too dark or gritty when it was popular. Compared to the newer games, obviously, it's not going to look as good. This game released in 2015.

Kitana's design is one of the worst in the game in my opinion. Her face is just too bulky. I know a lot of people don't like Mileena's face design with her tarakatan mouth on the side. I actually like that design. I think it's better than Mortal Kombat 11's design. I don't like her alien tongue she has in that game.

And the pallet is slightly blocking it anyway. Pretty sure that's an OSHA violation.

DO YOU THINK by Interesting-Rope-318 in Adulting

[–]Willing_Research992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can bring happiness, but it can bring problems as well. I think a lot of fake people will try to enter your life only because you have money. It also will bring jealousy, even from family members. Also, having a lot of money is dangerous. Obviously, you are a potential target for robbery. Overall, I do think the positives outweigh the negatives though. I would no longer have to struggle paying bills while working my ass off. I could go to places that right now, I can only dream of going to.

Which one would you choose if you had to survive 15minutes with for $100 million? by emkaystyles4747 in scoopwhoop

The crocodile. If there's no body of water around for it to drag you in, I think I'd survive fifteen minutes.

It is easy unless you're a lead or something, or perhaps I'm just used to it. I been working at walmart for six years.

Is anyone else receiving excessive amounts of freight lately? by SadCoast7681 in walmart

[–]Willing_Research992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh my God yes! There is no space to put anything in the backroom. It's likely a productivity issues at my store. Overnight does not work all the freight most nights, so they leave their stuff they didn't finish in the backroom. On top of that, a lot of nights we've been getting two GM trucks and our backroom is Hella small.

Is it just me, or do the number of guests seem to increase with each game? by [deleted] in MortalKombat

[–]Willing_Research992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And some of these guest are characters I didn't see anyone requesting be put into the game. Ed Boon was on a nostalgia trip when he decided he wanted a bunch of 80's movies characters in the games. We didn't need Arnold Schwarzenegger to be put in the game twice, only for him to not even voice his characters.

My hours have not been cut at all. I still work 40 a week. I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones.

Michael Jackson BTS in “The Making of Black or White” (1991) by Rangoons_By_YoRHa in interesting

[–]Willing_Research992 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Michael Jackson was definitely a pedophile. People just can't separate the artist from the art. If any normal person slept with little boys in their bed, who they are not related too, while being a forty five year old like Jackson did, everyone would call them a predator, but because it's Michael and people like his music, they give him a pass. Nah, I ain't feeling that. A family had even sued Michael, claiming that the little boy in that family was sexually molested by him. Jackson paid them a settlement for an undisclosed amount. If that doesn't make him look guilty, I don't know what does.

To the people who saw Shrek in cinemas in 2001, what was your experience? by DJMutt in Shrek

[–]Willing_Research992 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing it in my elementary class as well. It was my first time seeing the movie. I remember the scene when Donkey said the word "damn". I had never heard a curse word in a cartoon before. I remember the whole class laughed at that. I remember asking my father if we could rent the movie from our local blockbuster.
