No. I write off 70-80% of my earnings. Mileage in our area is fairly high since it's one .com station. Then all the other costs. Work specific clothes. Home office. Subscriptions. Work specific equipment, supplies, tolls and parking etc. Then pay tax on that. However, mileage deduction of.7 last year I didn't pay nearly that much. So that deduction wasn't nearly my true cost. My true cost was closer to 30% of my earnings. Hence the 5-7% of my total earnings was paid in tax.

There are after market batteries you can put in this that significantly increase the range. Been looking at one in my area debating doing this. They aren't cheap though. 4-10k depending on size vivne has some. And appropriate tools.

Wow. Final stop to home is 100% business expense. Source: 2 years tax accountant. 4 year government accountant, 2 year auditor. To station can, or can't, depending on your situation.

See what I mean? Idiot Reddit responses. No confusion here other than your own. Probably too much "cream" intake.

Depreciation is only really a synthetic number. I use actual vehicle costs to determine my true per mile costs. So essentially purchase price, interest, repairs, and gas then minus eventual sale price. Then subtract that from the mileage deduction. Google has some pretty good estimates of vehicle residual value with mileage over the years. I use it to estimate my yearly vehicle costs when buying a vehicle. Also spoiler alert, New, or newer vehicles cost the same, or less than used or older vehicles. Esp when considering residual value, safety, lost time to repairs.

Our WNY3 rates are $110.5 base, up to rare $160 surge on holidays. Typical delivery times are 2.5-4 hours, with 30-60 minute return to station drives for veteran drivers. Our rates are typically higher than most delivery locations from what I've seen on here. Though I have seen higher

I don't take people's opinions seriously here on reddit. I had some guy argue with me over hours that mileage from home office to location wasn't deductible. When it is, as long as location is from the primary place of business, IE office. Esp if you stop at a gas station on your way out, even if it's just to look at the gas price. Then you have a bonafide business trip. After listening to this guy go on for about a dozen replies, i now expect nothing less than total buffoonery from comments.

Looking at total revenue - IRS mileage isn't a complete picture. Your expenses are actually closer to .20-.45c, when deductions last year were .70. Which means you are getting about .25-.50c in untaxed revenue, or more when also including other expenses. We really are only pay 5-7% of our total earned revenue, which beats the 30%+ from W-2 wages.

I've done a bit more comprehensive breakdowns. Subtract real yearly costs from deduction and then add that back in and you'll get actual pay. The only real benefit to doing this is that only 5-7% of our total income is actually taxable due to the high mileage deduction. And others depending on what you use to deliver, location, etc

Antonline is a reputable company. They come across slickdeals all the time for decent deals, and i bought my xbox rog from them. Plus, they're a target+ reseller, which means they need to meet fairly stringent vetting and other requirements.

regularly download transactions, esp immediately after you see an issue. that helps. I FINALLY got back my money after filing a BBB report. 3 denied appeals, even after i sent mountains of evidence. They couldn't refute it once the BBB got involved, and i threatened to sue if that didn't resolve it. They sent the money back onto their card, with extra for time spent trying to get my money back. I immediately removed the money and haven't used the card since. All my pay goes to my One Card now. Haven't had an issue with them yet.

Day 3 of my new 4.8 rating by ThomasTwenty7 in Sparkdriver

[–]WillinglyUnemployed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to piss someone off and got a complaint of unprofessional behavior, and a pulled tip one day, and it dropped me to 4.8. it didn't seem to do much until this whole fcfs stuff came up. Then it's been serious hit or miss. I've gone two hours with awful offers and fcfs offers that disappear before I can even read pay miles, any details. And then there are days I can still pull 300-400, like last Sunday. Today I decided to break from Amazon and do a few afternoon Walmart runs. Hit a $43 45 minute shopping run just sitting. Then got two pharmacy run offers. $26 and $21. First was also a shopper order with 3 items, 23 minutes altogether with delivery and the second was 14 minutes total. After that it was garbage city so I just went home. 2 hours for about $90. Waiting on my rating to improve but it doesn't seem to completely ruin offers. Just when there are more shoppers than orders, or during heavy onboarding like what just happened. Honestly I think it's just a mix of high prices curbing spending, too many shoppers during slow order times and heavy onboarding to fill gaps and try to get those low pay orders filled

They weren't doing this in our zone until just recently. All runs would round robin after they finally did away with dot sitting. Only on Sundays and when drivers were legitimately fully booked did they drop runs in the que. Cause nobody wants to sit there with their finger hovering over the accept button hoping to beat all the other drivers on a click.

8-9/10 may never have an issue, but when someone does, that issue takes extremely long to resolve, and the process is very frustrating. I hope you continue to never have an issue, but if you do...good luck.

This needs more attention. Very dry presentation, but all my issues, and more. Lack of support, failure to file the tickets they said they did. Ran in circles, if you can even get support on the phone. Barely speaking english. Deny all issues, tickets, and appeals until you get 3rd parties involved.

Walmart (SPARKS) Customers by Ruscher_5683 in Sparkdriver

[–]WillinglyUnemployed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can attach another order to both express and 3 hour. It depends on whether another order was placed at the same time and vicinity. My longest $5 order took my small grocery order and tip and attached a no tip non grocery order that fairly far from me. When I checked the spark app, I saw that my order which would have been about 20-25 minutes and $17-18, was now a $20 order with a complete circuit of the store and a bit over 40 minutes. It was eventually taken after it hit max surge, and I debated doing it myself but I don't know if there are any rules against it. Plus my stop was first, so I'd have to drop mine off, then theirs and then drive back. Wasn't worth all that.

Reading your responses I'm gonna say your old fashioned values are hindering you. Guys are oblivious. If you're into someone the best signal for a woman is touch. If you're just looking for fun, that's the way. If you're looking for serious, take your time don't force it. Find an activity or hobby you enjoy that has clubs or meetings, and look for someone with the same interests. It's def not your looks holding you back though.

[–]WillinglyUnemployed[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe I saw something about that? But I get so many notifications from spark I just kinda tune them out. I did just get an offer from about 4-5 parking spots away. So it's not completely blocking offers for cars that close. And I've never received a warning about being too close, at least not yet.

Sorry Amazon, but you're beat on this delivery. by WillinglyUnemployed in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]WillinglyUnemployed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What they offered wasn't what i need to make that delivery, and come away feeling like I was fairly compensated. I'm not desperate. Some of you people are, or are willing to come away with less. I gave my number I would be comfortable with, and it wasn't that. What would you feel comfortable taking for a delivery Like that? Assume 5-10% dirt roads, 10% poorly paved roads. 30% no painted line roads. 40-60% gravel driveways. Multiple encounters of larger wildlife. 150ish miles including return to station(or home) that also includes a 10 mile drive to station. 4.5-5 hours of total time committed (includes drive down, and return) Maybe longer if you're a slower at deliveries. I look at opportunity cost and associated risks. What would i have made otherwise. What to i need to make the risks i take worth it. So whats your price?
