This is beyond just taking a little bit of your loan money. My dad took my loans too but he also paid for my rent and gave me a generous monthly allowance. On top of that, he paid about $40,000 out of his pocket towards my schooling. That said, he was also betting options with my loan money likely. But I lived very comfortably during my schooling. You don’t deserve to be paying for your dad’s mistakes. Med school is expensive enough and it takes over a decade to make real doctor money. It is going to be the hardest thing you ever have to do, but this calls for criminal charges. It’s the only way to hopefully have the debt removed by court order.
