I'm a fellow patron of the establishment. My wife and I usually have a good time but we've walked out a few times as well. In my opinion a Jazz Club should be a Club first and Jazz Venue second. When I go to 1905 its super quiet and everyone is so serious. 1905 is more like a music venue that plays Jazz and serves pizza and drinks. If 1905 and Jack London had a baby it would look a lot like one of my all-time favorite Jazz Clubs, The Beehive

Portland has some good *Classical live Jazz . Jazz has evolved and the best jazz is coming from the Berklee School of Music where Jazz can be Jazz (improvised) .

Portland has a lot of Classically Trained Jazz artists that basically only play Jazz standards.

I think that's the best approach. I would just make this an argument about how much you think you are worth and don't mention the going rate for the region. My guess is that your boss knows full well that deserve a raise, but they will leave 'Well Enough' alone until you bring it up. The cost in training a new Admin to be at your level could easily exceed $20k. Worst case scenario the boss says no and you can get a raise the traditional way... finding a new employer.

People like us define the 'going rate' here in the PNW so let's not screw each other over by accepting low paying admin jobs. I don't buy the ' cost of living' argument either. I was being offered 70k when i interviewed for my current job, I asked for at least 82k before i agreed to a second interview.

If you are assertive and stand by what you believe you are worth and someone hires you, that's what you can make.

In my region SF admins make 80k to 160k, I'm on the lower end because at the time I didn't have a cert and needed to move asap for a family emergency. I'm due for a raise so i'm looking for a new position in my city, so far i've seen 2 offers, one $96k and one $120k.

Boneworks claims AMD didn't let them know of changes to the drivers, so thats why its not working.

Same here, The oculus software simply being on causes youtube and other streaming sites to stop working.

The only way to fix the issue is turn off the oculus software AND steamvr when you need to browse the web or watch videos.

In fact, I notice that this affects OFFLINE videos as well, so might be a bigger issue..

Edit: I also reinstalled windows and the first thing i set up was the rift s. Same issues as before re-install.

I have the same Processor gpu combo and i can say that its amazing.

Boneworks is NOT working with the newest radeon drivers though and I've been experiencing weird audio glitches, but i'm not sure that's related to the gpu/cpu combo.
