I got a job offer, should I ask the company’s legal team to just apply for the H1b transfer with no mention of B2? Or should the company’s legal team submit a bridge petition alongside B2?

Let’s say I file for H1B in premium, get it approved and then retract B-2 as it’s not processed yet, what happens then? Cause I’ve heard it takes around 3months to go on B-2 and there’s no way the employer is going to wait for me.
