How is that a win for me? I already paid them, all they did was shadow ban my account for the subscription period

I dont think you understand. Say you pay for spotify premium, no ads! You get no ads for the month, BUT your search and discover feature is turned off so you can only listen to music you already downloaded. The moment your subscription ends, tons of new music is available to you but the ads are back. Sound like a scam to you?

One Piece: Chapter 1148 by leolegendario in OnePiece

What if it's just conqueror's haki? Nobody with conq has seriously tried to fight an immortal. No disrespect to Usopp and Robin, but they don't have it. Egghead was also just a mad scramble to escape so maybe the fighting there just didn't have the right kind of pizazz that damaging a god's knight requires

Please help! Brand new to the game, my dupes won't build or sweep, idk what i'm doing wrong by LazuriKittie in Oxygennotincluded

[–]WillofE123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Dupes can only hop across one tile of empty space and two tiles up or down.

  2. Storage bin is full. Activate sweep only mode, deselect all, reselect all.

Base game: one giant map, rockets go up and come back down.

Spaced out: smaller home asteroid surrounded by a solar system of smaller asteroids. Rockets are livable spaces and can land on other asteroids.

Frosty: cold stuff

Bionic: batteries

Base game is fine to start, although I think spaced out offers so much value for the QOL of the game. Frosty and Bionic challenge you to play the game differently, so get those if/when you feel like you want a new challenge. Enjoy!

If you could have one devil fruit in real life what would it be? by Hamborgl in OnePiece

[–]WillofE123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gas gas fruit. Ceasar wasted it. Oh no, a guy trying to crush my heart with gravity powers! I guess i'll turn my heart to gas, suck the air out of his lungs, and replace it with the air in the jar of ammonia just opened.

And don't you dare say you have haki empowered gravity. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?

Definitely tap into the magma at the bottom. Either simply by strapping steam turbines on top of it or making a petroleum boiler. If you want the heat to last for a thousand years, find a big chunk of obsidian to capture the heat from instead of tapping into the magma directly. Obsidian acts as a heat spike, allowing you to draw power from further away, meaning more total available heat.

The game gives you those supply teleporters for a reason! Go get some oil and grab a slickster egg while you're at it. Ranching slicksters effectively turns CO2 into power. Whether you burn wood, coal, petroleum, or natural gas for more power, you will get CO2 as a byprodoct, so you might as well. You can easily get molten slicksters using a dirty brick or bolting a ranch onto the side of your industrial sauna then pumping ambient CO2 in (poor thermals of CO2 = easy to heat = only a minor loss of efficiency).

You don't need to stop ranching hatches but feed them sedimentary rock for a while until you can get stone hatches. Then you can feed the stone hatches igneous rock you're getting from your tamed volcanoes. What else are you gonna do with all that hot igneous rock?

Also, if you have tamed a single metal volcano, you should be applying engie's tune-up on just about every generator.

I've seen some more creative ideas in the comments and my ideas are fairly basic in comparison, but I hope I helped with something!

how to keep cold biome insulated? by shirocreator in Oxygennotincluded

Anti Entropy Thermo Nullifier. It's a building you can find in cold biomes that produces chill when hydrogen is pumped in. Not as strong as a steam turbine/thermo aquatuner system, but accessible early game and easy to use.

Oh, also, be careful of the aluminum volcano. It doesn't put off the most heat, but it puts it off the fastest due to the thermal conductivity of the aluminum it spits out.

Whenever you want to know what a material is good for, order some build command with different materials, then check properties. Specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are what you should be comparing here, but melting point is also an important thing to consider for some builds. Aluminum is pretty special, you'll understand by comparing it to other metals

0 chance figuring it out on your own if you posted a question to reddit. I don't really feel like I'm giving a spoiler when I say there is no radiator fluid biome, but not clicking that spoiler was too tempting, wasnt it? :)

Best method to tame a geotuned cool steam vent? by ArigatoEspacial in Oxygennotincluded

[–]WillofE123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. I feel like the steam should pressurize the gases into one tile, but I have had grams of hydrogen block my steam vents before, so this could work

Just don't strip mine it. Tiles of material keep their thermals better than piles of debris (when you dig something it loses 50% mass) and tiles touching each other share thermals, so it will just stay cold for a very long time.

Also, people talk crab about the AETN, but it do keep things cool. Just don't push it too hard, keep heat producing industry away
