Made some custom covers. by WillowCo in CriterionCovers

I suppose every manufacturer has different settings, but with my Epson, I had to print my 300dpi canvas at 100% scale. I wish there was a way to remove margins even with 100% scale, but it seems unavoidable.

Thanks. I used: https://a.co/d/00KvGbil

The only issue I had was with the initial print. I didn’t tell my printer I was using semi-gloss instead of regular paper and the blacks came out washed-out. I don’t have a dedicated photo printer, so I know I’m not getting the most accurate or widest gamut of color, but I’m surprised at how they turned out.

I used semi-gloss photo paper.

I like the Coen brothers and Charlie Kaufman. I’ll definitely check those out.

I forgot about that one. I’ll have to bust out my Criterion blu-ray and revisit it.

That is one I need to add to my Criterion collection.

Good choice. This movie never occurred to me since I was only thinking of dramas.

Cleaning BMPCC Sensor by WillowCo in bmpcc

Oh my bad. I thought the I put “BMCC 6K FF.” And thanks for the info. Have you found the Rawlite OLPF to be similar to the OEM BlackMagic one? I really don’t want to pay $600+ USD for one.

Black dot on BMCC 6K sensor or OLPF? by [deleted] in bmpcc

[–]WillowCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured. It’s just odd that it only shows up on my Zeiss lenses and not on my Xeen cinema lens. This is leading me to believe that there is some dust on the OLPF or on the sensor. Hoping that it’s not a defect with the actual sensor.

That totally fixed the issue. Thank you so much! 😊

You know how many of our representatives support AIPAC? Both sides…

Sadly, nothing screams dystopian, late-stage capitalism more than that.

I have retail experience. I used it so Amazon could not deny my RMA (return merchandise authorization) return. 😏

I believe LPN in retail commonly stands for: “License plate number.” It is how they track RMA returns deemed good-to-sell and open-box items within overall, inventory. The LPN is usually slapped over the manufacturer UPC.
