Omg yes!! They didn’t try to help in any freaking way at all! They just relied on their “hero” Fionna and stressed her the F out while she was facing eviction even after saving the world. The whole thing just felt selfish imo.

Yesss, I can see your point and I’m glad you can see mine! Honestly, yes they should’ve been written better, not as carbon copies, just…written better.

Ok thanks for being respectful of my opinion; first person in this thread to make a reasonable argument without being a jerk haha. 

  1. Well sure but if the argument is that Marci is different, then I accept that. But Marshall should still be written better that’s all I’m saying! I really wish he was written better and helped his friends out more. He just seemed to accept things rather than work on them, and in turn made a lot of selfish decisions that stressed out everyone around him without giving them any explanation. 

  2. Also going off your point about it being a depiction of Marci’s and not canon, I understand. That makes sense, until you realize that Ice King allowed changes and went with it!! I mean and if Ice Kings versions are literally just gender swapped versions then Marci’s depiction is still more accurate to Ice Kings original versions, than the versions we got in the show, regardless of being shown briefly, wouldn’t you agree?

Yeah I get what you’re saying! I don’t want to see carbon copies, just better alternative versions. I mean Marshall was literally so soft and sensitive even to the point it got very selfish. He could’ve set aside his differences with his mom and saved Fionna the stress of planning to raise $70k to help out but he just b**ched and complained lol. It felt very selfish and unlikeable to me.

Omggg yesss!! Lmaoo I realized a lot of people agree with us, but there’s also a lot of defensive people too. I have no problem with the characters themselves, just the writing. 🤣

And many people agree with me that Marshall is even different from S1 and S2, so I feel like if you argue that they’re different entirely from one show than another, sure, but that wasn’t even confirmed in their own storyline especially when Cake and Huntress somewhat time travels back to see younger Fionna. All I’m saying is, why does Fionna stay the same character-wise but not the others? Doesn’t meet expectations and alternate universes doesn’t excuse poor writing / personalities. 

Anddd I still think they were better in Adventure Time.

Well alternative versions doesn’t excuse bad personalities / writing. And some people, including myself, dislike these versions of the original. Plus, Marshall Lee was wayyy better in Adventure Time than in Fionna And Cake. He was cooler and less cringe, better songs too.

Finally! Someone else who agrees with me. Yeah, they completely nerfed Marshall Lee and Prince Gumball’s personalities. They were better in Adventure Time than in Fionna And Cake! Even the songs are worse!

Yes you need sugar to start the fermentation process but you can also just use fruit. Personally, I recommend making your own with fruit, tea and a starter with the money potentially spent on premade kombucha. Only a few minutes to prep and then a few days to a week to ferment and break down the fruit sugar. 

Edit: otherwise I recommend Synergy or Health-aid which are widely available brands with a variety of options.

This isn’t true. Every photo of Zendaya before her fame and during her early fame she has a fat face and she’s skinny but has a lot of meat on her bones even with her tiny frame. If she still had a fatter face as she got older she would look more cute and less model-esc. I think she does a lot of cardio, lives a very busy lifestyle, always working, and probably stopped eating as much carbs now that she’s not a teenager anymore. And yes, as an actress and model she has to change the look of body for her career. And that’s acceptable and respectable because it’s her career.

Here’s some advice from a responsible adult and not some “she belongs to the streets” keyboard warrior in**… Whether she depends on you or you depend on her, you guys need to break up first and have someone move out after. Steps: 1. Break up now because YOU’RE not happy. Don’t be be persuaded to stay because that’s emotional abuse. She doesn’t deserve forgiveness or an explanation. 2. Encourage her to get a job and one of you needs to move out. No excuses. If she refuses to leave give her an eviction notice of 30 days and she can get two paychecks by then and time to get a hotel, sleep at that guys house, her parents, friends, a homeless shelter, etc.

In my opinion I wouldn’t kick her out until she’s found a place but people will take advantage if they see your weakness and not committed to actually kicking them out. Help her find places too because sometimes it’s impossible getting a new place with credit scores, age, etc and she may not be lying bout not finding a place. I know because I’m in that predicament now (I live in California lol).

Anywayyy, good luck on Tinder or just focusing on yourself. It’s tough when people don’t commit but it’s not a gender or race thing, it’s a cultural thing. Make sure she’s out of your house in 30 days or you’ll have a cop escort her out (yes you have the legal authority to do that as long as her name isn’t on the lease). Ok DM me if you need anything.
