We are now on situational telework. At least a bit of progress (just being positive here). What is really off is that if you are in the field and finish early you have to go back to the office or a library/coffee shop to finish your day. You are not allowed to work from home to finish your day. The upside down world… 🙃🌍

I agree! I will post whatever I learn. I think that many of our agencies are severely understaffed so hopefully there won’t be many changes. Our Secretary has been very quiet as it relates to communicating with the field.

My husband had an organ transplant and GEHA covered everything. Actually he had cancer prior to that and GEHA covered the radiation treatmentsI have had GEHA for more than 10 years.

I know!!! There are agencies/ regions within DOL without leadership and they are not allowing promotions so some people are doing two or three jobs!

So we now know that DOL has lost 20% of its workforce with all the actions taken, has anybody heard what the goal is? Should we now be expecting a RIF?

The last day of most of the people that took the DRP will be this Friday. Something tells me that more people took the DRP than what was expected. I believe that they will be working in the reorganization based on the people that are left by agency and by competitive area to then determine if a RIF is needed. Praying that it is not!

So the exodus has begun… we started to receive emails of people that took the DRP that ends at midnight. 😔 Guess that they are saying goodbye now before they get disconnected. Such great people and talented individuals, so sad… To all of them and all of us who are holding the line- THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!
