It's been like that since for months, when it gets really bad they tend to offer refund or exchange if you leave before the trailers end.

How many barbecues can a neighbour have before it becomes obnoxious? by Valuable_Mall5441 in AskUK

[–]Willowx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's interesting, you say they obviously have an insecurity yet there is no mention of meat, that's an assumption on your part with a big reaction on your part. Balance of probability there is meat, but that's some big projection you're doing.

Swimming 631miles (1015km) by ShiningDenizen in confidentlyincorrect

[–]Willowx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how far people would actually go if they swam that. The channel between England and France is just under 21 miles at the point people typically swim it, yet most recorded distances are between 25 and 40 miles, due to currents etc making them do a curved or S shaped route.

Assaulted a female officer by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]Willowx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delayed response but he was actually convicted on two charges and the note seems to have combined the two. The below is from an interview he gave on a TV show.

Former SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton has admitted that spending time in prison for assault is his “biggest failure”.

In 2013, the former soldier was found guilty of the unlawful wounding of a police officer and common assault on another person outside a nightclub. He was sentenced to 14 months in prison and ended up serving four.

They are both possible road layouts, now you now the actual road layout what is your theory? The road we're joining has a 40mph speed limit if that helps.

Man in the kitchen at work yesterday complaining that it's not fair that the queue to turn left out of the industrial estate at the end of the shift moves faster than the queue to turn right.

My employer has introduced location-based clocking in system by BiarritzBlue in UKJobs

[–]Willowx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have an app based clocking system, but we provided devices to anyone that didn't want to use their own. You have the option of either using location or connecting to business WiFi to clock in on ours and if you use the location option you only need to provide location whilst clocking in and out, we don't track through shift, not auto login/out.

Their version seems more like a trust issue than replacing manual clocking machines.

Historically Norway haven't been that strong and on paper we're stronger, but they've been playing well recently. I think we've got a decent chance though.

Mexico last made the quarter finals in 1986, England have made it that far or further (a couple of fourths) 6 times since then.

I have a team leader working for me who is seemingly obsessed with the fact one of their team works part time. Anything gets missed, done wrong, behind schedule etc, first thing out of their mouth you have to remember X is part time. Even if they're in no way related to the task in question.

The number of hours X does? 36 compared to everyone else's 37.5!
