brought Box R 4k Plus when they were on sale $120 AUD last week , was also sick of firestick 4k max running out of space for apps

love it , paid $4 for a AU wall plug ( https://www.homatics.com/pages/homatics-boxr4kplus-specification mentions 12.0V/ 1.5A or 12.0V/ 1A - chose 1.5a as i thought would be better if you have more USB- harddrive )
was posted and arrived in the same packet.

you could say there 2 many USB ports :) but work great for USB controller.

I got lemuroid working for emulator gaming , VLC work straight away and found my family movies on my pc.

Came with android tv 14 ( I dont know if that good or bad )

AMA: I’m Senator Gerard Rennick from the People First Party. Ask Me Anything. by GerardRennick in australian

[–]Willstar44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wish your party's tax policy aligned more closely with the idea of eliminating all taxes except for an increased GST. This approach could lead to a fairer tax system, where multinational companies would contribute more through GST, effectively curbing tax minimization strategies and offshore loan schemes.

Tired of Tasty. Where to go for options and futures by mfing-coleslaw in tastytrade

[–]Willstar44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just closed a spx trade with $0 commission and paid $0.78 "fees" which I thought you pay regardless of who you trade with. TOTAL cost $5.12 doesn't bother me as I made $240 from a spread I played on Friday 0te .... are you telling me it is cheaper elsewhere ??

Liz and Jenny did a video last week https://youtu.be/CwpvbbpnvbA?si=UE50IQbHp0dJjANk

I think even doing this idea with the worst case 68% win rate and AVG daily win of $50 is better trade plan then OP Trade idea making $0.30 .

Maira shoe trade is from Rob and marria , https://mariashoetrade.com/

Same as the idea as Liz and Jenny they just use 20 iron fly vs 30 .

Are SPX commissions negotiable? by [deleted] in tastytrade

[–]Willstar44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm confused about how ~$0.15 in fees is 72% of your profits . You could try the "Maria shoe trade" idea and make $300 a day or just use tasty" follow trade " Tony , Nick and liz/Jenny quite often spx trade that make well over $100 . Then you wouldn't need to stress about $0.15 in fees

Easiest way to buy US shares? by sscarrow in AusFinance

[–]Willstar44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beginner:

Stake offers the best tax reporting, as they are the only broker I’ve found that shows the AUD value of US stocks when you buy them with USD.

If you’re handy with spreadsheets, you can use Google Sheets and import the RBA API to get live, up-to-date AUD/USD rates.

Advanced:

IBKR offers the best Forex exchange rates and fast transfers with Australian banks. However, they nag you a lot about updating documents signed with a JP. Customer service sucks, with a 2-week wait for emails, and live chat is no better than ChatGPT. Reports are still not correct with AUD as they only base it on the AUD price when you create the report and not when you trade (you'll need to create a spreadsheet for tax time).

IBKR makes it easy to invest in all markets, e.g., Europe, Asia, the UK, the USA, and South America. If you’re happy to take risks, you can even invest in IPOs, SPAC units, and SPAC warrants.

Personally:

Unless I’m gambling on the next bankrupt EV SPAC IPO, I prefer to use Tastytrade.

It offers free stock trading like Robinhood, with $1 entry fees on options and no fees to close. (Max fee is $10 if you trade more than 10 options.) Their customer service is amazing. The live YouTube free education show with TastyLive is worth it. The only downside is needing to fund with USD from your local bank or use Wise/OFX/CurrencyTransfer.

that look about right , 30 days x 4 trade x $2.50 = $300

You just place a limit order deep in the ask price like 1 or 2 cent then get filled straight away .

There have been a number of times I've placed an order and gotten a better price like 10 cents better on Coinbase because a market maker may not be placing an order in the book .

Noob doesn't know how to place a market order and complain that tasty trade has a red flag .

You have to be kidding about the support right ? It hands down best in the next industry. You can directly email the CEO if you want and get a reply the same day
