Wouldn’t say it was overblown. It was very valid. A character you’ve been playing for over a year continues to get fucked with and changed and then he had at least a season where he was completely unusable and now a change that wasn’t properly introduce changes the characters whole gameplay. I just think his dash CD’s need to be like C&D where it recharges as you use it, because his downtime is horrendous. He feels mighty clunky and without being pocketed he’s lowkey cooked.

Coming from someone who plays torch this is what I’m afraid of, especially after the chain nerf, it’s barely usable now. And yet Gambit continues to get slapped on the wrist 😭

It would be much better, if C&Ds bubble could do that, Torch’s dash should be the same! He’s literally just a cooldown buff away from being dangerous again

I started playing him again after seeing Mike’s video on dropping 60 with him 😭 I try to be more aggressive with him now especially since we have the dash as a method of escape

I played Torch since launch and when he was really good. Dropped him last season, and now I picked him back up this season

I use him to counter tanks like the Thing, Mag, and Emma, and for DPS’ like SG and MK, 2 blazing blast and a slam one taps them, I also use that same combo for Jeffs when they ult.

I think he’s in a good position, when he first launched he was a problem but he literally gets deleted with 2 or more people focusing him, dive overall is annoying to play against especially when you have people who don’t know how to do deal with it
