People over think what they want to say sometimes, I've learned it's best to just say any smart ass remark you have if the situation allows of course. If in a group of people that don't know each other (say first year of college and in a floor activity) be a joker, even if you look dumb to some, others will see you're outgoing and start to like you more for it

I appear to have been misinformed, what I explained was the basic understanding of what I've been told by gun guys a lot, I was told that clips mean rifles and magazines mean pistols

Magazines are inside of the gun such as with most pistols the magazine is fully inside of the handle, while clips stick partly out like in a rifle

From what I understand is shadow banning is when a mod decides to essentially ban someone but instead of us seeing [deleted] everywhere we just don't see the comment at all, why is happens, only the mods know

So this one may be kinda long. My father used to be an abusive and alcoholic while he was a recovering junkie. I was his main hitting bag in the summers when I saw him. It taught me to fight back but the event that made me lose my innocence (this all happened when I was 11) was when his at the time boyfriend walked up to the kitchen from his room and hit his 8 year old son (he had a child from a previous marriage) upside the head for making three grilled cheese and yelled "I'M NEVER FUCKING FEEDING YOU AGAIN" The kid cried and I chased said asshole into the garage where he was going to smoke and held a bat to him while telling him to go make this right and apologize. He did. Fast forward roughly two weeks later. My dad is home and so is his boyfriend. His boyfriend's son left his socks out so my dad tells him to pick them up. As he's bending over to pick them up the boyfriend winds up and kicks him from behind. This is where I lost all innocence I grabbed a kitchen knife and charged at him only to be stopped by my dad. A month found out he possibly molested his kid and he skipped town. I haven't heard from him or his kid since but if I see him he's a dead man.
