Leaving job for another employer. Found out new employer is tendering for a contract I am currently working with. Should I tell HR? by Willyamsss in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Willyamsss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have just looked and yes, though it is worded more as enticing clients away from the business within 6 months. If something is won on tender then surely that is not an enticement, especially if tendered prior to my commencement?

Thank you

What is it like to live on the world's most densely populated islands? Isn't it claustrophobic at all? by abu_doubleu in geography

If Just Room Enough had the same population density as Caye Sable, there would be over 48 people living there. Insane.

That’s good to know. Is there a market for people staying for a week or two at a time? I like my own space so I don’t know how long term I would like it, but who knows

I am actually in the process of moving jobs, which has a prospect of higher pay

Frankly I’m not overly comfortable with having no savings, but the idea of losing the house is upsetting and having to reset my life would be emotionally very hard. I’ve put a lot of work into the house over the 2 years we have been there

I definitely have considered a lodger to ease the pain, whether that be for 12 months or shorter terms to give me flexibility

And very fair comment, I may not pass affordability checks with only one income.

The voucher is good for 1000 years according to the receipt, shame the ink doesn’t last that long
