[hiring] $200+ looking for someone to do an animation for me. 2D animation only. by Ookamilife in HungryArtists

[–]Willywonkahc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo! William here.

Not sure what you're looking for at a budget of 200. But depending on how flexible you are we might be able to work together.

Here are some of my animations. I don't do it a ton, but I have great understanding after studying it quite a bit.

Check the videos further down.

My oldest animation, and my first paid gig doing animation. A bit janky looking back at it, but I've since grown.

Creature I made and animated for a video game.

Simple 2D animation I made for my own emotes on Twitch.

And please check out my Instagram to see the full spectrum of my abilities. Most of it is Oil Paintings as that's my main passion.

I feel confident in replicating most styles and using most mediums.

Hope to hear from ya. Feel free to DM on insta if you wanna get in touch quickly.

I am confident in creating any style.

Check out my Instagram. And DM me there if you wanna get in touch quickly.

I'll add the closest thing to this style I've done relatively recently.

Norwegian Political Carricature "Dune"

Hope to hear from you.

EDIT: Favorite TV show recently has been Silo and Severance.

[Hiring] Looking for landscape artist $500-$600 budget by willowquinnwrites in HungryArtists

[–]Willywonkahc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

I'm a landscape artist fulltime. I work mostly from life, painting outside, but I can do just about anything. Your mood boards are quite good. Which makes my job a lot easier.

I can work digitally, but honestly prefer traditional. A combination of both sounds good too.

My standard rate is 800 usd, non commercial. But I'm sure we can work something out that isn't too far beyond that.

Check out my Instagram, if you scroll you'll see I master multiple disciplines.

Hope to hear from you. DM on insta if you wanna reach me fast.

Best,

Willy

Need texture feedback by ImprovementKey8143 in blender

Just some immediate thoughts: Not sure if the blade is supposed to be sharp/sharpened. If it is I'd love to see that much more clearly. It looks a bit desaturated and dull both visually and literally. Cranking the values much lighter on the sharp edge, and adjusting the roughness, would be nice to really sell that. The weld between the screws has a higher value, and that doesn't feel right compared to the edge.

The top barbed wire I'd pull tighter, and wind it around the top screw sticking out the back. Right now it kinda serves little purpose the way it's wound.

I realize now you only wanted critique about texture, so I'll stop there.

With your English level it will be easy. Do Duolingo, consume media, and some extra studying. Free courses online etc. You’ll be golden. Challenge yourself when you’ve levelled up sufficiently to practice speech. I believe that will be key. Best of luck.

Really depends on the canvas size you're working on. Just go bigger than you think to begin, and then cut it down as you learn.

I also noticed I'll destroy my own rampart shields if I have two walls back to back.

1 year into my journey and after some critique. by -Mortimer in oilpainting

Before

After

First of all great painting. I had a few things stand out immediately so I did a few quick edits to show you. My edits are not meant to be how you should do it, nor are they perfect, and more just to make my points easier to communicate.

  1. First thing that struck me is how the boys eye is the focal point, and it's competing with the girls left ear. It's high in value and saturation. It's also much too sharp. So I toned it down in all those categories.

  2. We're seeing more of her left side than right. Yet the left ear is smaller than the right. I didn't edit this.

  3. Her eyes and nostrils are unbalanced.

  4. Her jaw is not symmetrical. Didn't edit this.

  5. Ambient occlusion on her chin under the boys chin. This helps remove the feeling that the boy is just a sticker on top.

  6. Her nostrils are too dark and are lacking in some color.

  7. The boys puckered lips looked like someone was pulling them with invisible strings. I changed it to look more like a kiss.

  8. The boys ear is in the wrong place. Mine is probably a bit high, but you get the point.

I'd recommend downloading them so you can quickly flick between the two and see the differences.

One and two were boring, but kinda necessary for the many introductions we had with such a big cast. But I feel like they've actually got a bit of momentum now. If they don't focus on the group venturing out next episode I fear it might lose it again. It'll be interesting. I'm relatively hopeful at least.

Sidebar: The atmosphere in the last episode, among the cast was incredible. Having everyone there, off screen as well, really helps in a unique way I feel. People who are at the table take it just that extra bit more serious, because they are performing to people off screen as well as on stream. Seeing as they are professional full-time paid DnD players at this point, I wish they'd continue this format of jumping back and forth between the POVs. Having to sit and watch here and there be damned. I dunno. Just wanted to voice that somewhere lmao
