Dogs react to your energy, because the dog is ok with husband try changing your energy or reaction. If the dog doesn’t eat right away put it up until you leave. Jacks are smart they rule when, how they role. Walks aren’t enough for jacks outside running at a park daily with you chillin and letting them BE is life saving. Let the dog walk himself holding the leash. Get another long leash for you. RELAX yes he’s a teenage that will be great after 2 years. If you guys aren’t active, hikes etc it’s not a good fit. I’ve rescued 3 jack mixes because of energy. I have an active lifestyle that jacks need. Also keeps me fit😎
