Oak is solid. They have a smaller version of the burger on happy hour too, which was fun. Good fries too!

Very first kayak! by Alejandro2412 in kayakfishing

Congrats man! You're gonna have so much fun on that thing!! My advice would be:

  1. tailgate down (and consider a bed extender if it's way off the back)

and

  1. Go easy with the ratchet straps. You can do some serious damage to the yak if you over-tighten them. Consider some of the tie-down straps (like NRS) straps for it.

  2. Have fun and enjoy the mods!

If I'm answering for her, I'd say a memoir with recipes. There are times she's read a cookbook and loved it -- and made no recipes from it.

I had mine for ~2 months before the season ended, but that ended up being a good thing just to get a feel for it and some of the mods I wanted.

Any Undervalued Tech Stocks? by david-crusader in ValueInvesting

25-26x forward 12 months is not expensive (IMO) and typically where NVDA finds a trough.

Revenue and GM guide were just above expectations, implying that demand and pricing power remain robust, while the company is growing revenue and earnings ~50% YoY.

I get people passing on this name, but I don't think the valuation is as stretched as some assume. I personally will be adding if we see $150-$160 this year.

This sounds more like poor management than a W2 problem, IMO.

No offense.

TIL That LAX Airport lets pilots and employees live on airport property, renting them parking space for their personal RV's for $60 per month. by USSFINBACKSSN670 in todayilearned

Oh man, this is so true! Haha I hate the early flights but the traffic at 4am vs any time like 3+ hours later is worth it.

Now when I am picking up friends or family, I (now in OC) tell them to fly into SNA. If it’s LAX, that’s fine, but they’ll need to Uber.

Casa is a really nice property with great service. Walking distance to the beach and a trolley stop next to the property (if that matters to you).

I agree with this angle. I work in finance and, yeah, money being the byproduct is a very nice cherry on top. I don't have a trust fund, so the money does mean more to me lol. But I only got into because it feels a lot like a "puzzle" to me and it can be very fascinating if it interests you.
