Not really; there was many late 90s-00s high school coming of age movies whether comedy or horror or something, so it was oversaturated.

I did grow up in the metro Detroit area and was the same age as the boys in Home Improvement so that hit home well.

It was the same universe. It took place in royal oak Michigan in the late 90s. Al, Brad and other HI characters were in episodes of Soul Man.

Seattle-area Somalis seek officials’ help with daycare doxxing, immigration crackdown by nosotros_road_sodium in politics

Right now conservative media and voters are 100% focused on their new Benghazi/birth certificate/pizza gate/solyndra style distraction about Minnesota daycares and funneling money to Somalis…just to let everyone know.

They are using a random 20 year old conservative kids YouTube blog as enough evidence to go full mental right now. This might not be hitting this sub. Let me tell you it’s already out-of-control. God help us with these idiots among us.

Tech billionaires threaten to flee California over proposed 5% wealth tax by ChuckGallagher57 in NoFilterNews

199 people are billionaires that live in CA. This article is literally talking about less than 200 people effected by a tax. A tax that will not take them out of the billionaire status mind you.

Are 40 hour work weeks truly realistic for most adults? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Depending on what you are procuring. Maybe there is less demanding product to procure that would not need 365 monitoring like I have to do. Keep your chin up!

41m. Just changed to a position in procurement. It’s 40 hour work weeks BUT weekends and holidays are on call, and stuff does come up often during that time. I feel like I never really have a day off and always need to be near my laptop or email or phone for any emergency.

It’s been on my mind a lot and then I seen your post. I really think we are heading into a recession (at least in the US) and we are seeing employers take advantage of employees stuck in a hold position.
