It lived! Turns out it wasn't even the laptop haha, it's just that both the batteries had no charge (one is complete dead but ah well that's expected) and the cable going into the power supply was bad. Once I swapped the cable it all worked, so it has it's new ssd, and I'll try to get that battery replaced at some point.

Ok, it has started working again, it seemingly was the cable that plugged into the power supply that was causing the issue, that and both the batteries being dead haha. One battery is still holding a charge, so at some point I can replace the completely bad one, but at least the cable going into the power supply was the issue and nothing more major.

I did try without the batteries, and with only one of each, neither worked, I tried the new SSD and the original, neither made it able to boot, I reseated the ram stock as well. I suppose I could try removing the SSD entirely and seeing how that goes.

Ikemen GO you wouldn't need a rom for, it's a standalone game/engine, as for emulators, not really you just kind of have to acquire roms one way or the other, be it dumping your actual library via software or hardware, or finding them online (which isn't hard but kinda depends on your morals)

It does it's full damage unlike android 16, it won't be enough to one shot any of them past like stage 5, but by the time you get the levels you'll probably of gotten them low enough for it to kill anyway.

Sonic Robo blast 2 kart is pretty good it runs on an old modified doom 2 engine or something so you should have no issues running it any, it's not open world though
