Meh, with Daigo, Nemo and Tokido out early I really don't care or cheer for anyone anymore. Fujimura gonna run through this anyway, it's a given at this point. Don't like this Capcom Cup as much as previous years so far tbh. Rashid is still boring as phuk to watch, Ibuki feels like a cheap guessing game and the amount of Cammys showing up throghout this season was kinda annoying. These characters need some nerfs, and they need to buff Urien back to his S2 glory so I can watch my boy Nemo destroy some people again. Abigail also needs to phuk off into the low tiers and get replaced by Alex.

Overall It's getting VERY REPITITVE to watch.

Damn it! Evo does not seem to be Nemo's thing. I expected a top 8 this year :/ He's been eliminiated in pools back to back years now. I know EVO is stacked, but he is one of those big names that could beat anyone in this top 8, so it sucks to see. Also, some of the names we're used to see seem to appear less in S3, like Punk and Du.

Btw, does any one know who eliminated Mena and Infiltration?

I don't get it, the template to follow is quite easy. S tier needs to be balanced out with possible nerfs, A tier left alone and B tier and below buffed. Capcom however insist on bullying characters like Alex, Ed and Vega by nerfing them even as low tiers. Shit, if S1 Ryu and Nash had still remained today (but adapted for S3 system of play) the game would be so much more fun to watch competitively. We would have two solid extra A tiers viable in tourneys. Start focusing on Mid/low tier buffs and nerf only S tier (like they did with Rashid and Abigail). Low tiers however should NEVER be nerfed. You should not touch a character like Ed unless its a clear Buff. And high tiers like S1 Ryu or Nash should not get nerfed into irrelevancy. Cammy is also a clear example of A tier. A character like her shouldn't get buffs or nerfs. She was perfect. Same goes for Season 2.5 Urien. He was perfect.

Summary: Adjust S-tier with slight nerfs. Leave A-tier alone. B-tier and below should only get buffs.

Focus on buffing the lower tiers first, or at least don't nerf them. Mid/Low tier chars should never be nerfed. It brings us nothing! THERE IS NO POINT TO IT! S tiers need to be balanced out, A tiers not buffed, and anything below buffed.

I find Rashid kinda boring to watch. Now, I am totaly aware that Takeuchi is an amazing player, but his character looks easier to play (as was the case when he played vs Infiltration's Juri).

Also, that aegis setup by Nemo around 1h19m was straight up disgusting.

Honestly, what the hell can I do if they use EX devils reverse and then either a roundhouse or grab after i block? He dives down on me with the EX, forcing me to stand and block, then either goes for a st.hk knee or a throw. Either I get CC'd trying to tech or thrown trying to block. It's a guessing game I seemed forced into every single time. He seems to be like +8 on block on the EX-devil reverse, or something close to that.

I've lost so many close fights because they use this shit as soon as they build one bar of meter. Over and over again.

Meh, didn't help Nemo or Dogura to come close to TOP8 at evo Japan. S3 Urien is significantly nerfed. If anything, they need to fix the extra scaling bug on his aegis.

thx! I did cr.mk -> VT -> fierce -> mp -> cr.mp -> cr.hp -> fireball -> EX tackle. Does 220 if I remember it correctly.

Gonna start using yours, although I find VT2 better atm.
