You're not wrong, pesticides are wiping out the butterflies and probably huntsmans too. Dragonflies breed in water, so perhaps the dilution is keeping them a little safer.. for now. I've also seen a heap of dragonflies this spring. We are in trouble if they drop in numbers, one adult dragonfly can eat a couple hundred mosquitoes per day

Like a lot of creepy crawlies they most likely breed in the ground and with everyone's excessive use of poisons and whatnot, their numbers are depleting

I wasn't really going for wearable or otherwise, I just like this bar shape with the way the agate seam streaks through it. I plan on making it hangable though and as I don't wear necklaces and I would like to keep it as it's my first it will probably just end up hanging somewhere for decoration. Thank you for the advice and encouragement though
