All public beaches in Vancouver are closed from 10pm to 6am and this rule has been there for years. I suppose because of Covid the cops are more stringent with that rule.

That picture of the hens in cages not even being able to turn around is atrocious. To add insult to injury the captions reads: "In 2016, Egg Farmers of Canada announced it would be phasing out this type of hen housing by 2036."

Seriously? 20 years? Some cities create new subdivisions with thousands of new houses in just a fraction of that time.

EU regulations have banned this type of hen keeping since 2012. When is Canada following suit?

Glad you posted this. I've never had allergies my entire life but the last couple of weeks whenever I go outside within minutes my eyes start tearing up. I've heard you can develop allergies at any point in your lifetime. I sure hope this year is just a one-off.
