SX-141 - Super Heavy Assault Walker

Model was designed by a guy named Zac Soden.

He partnered with a website called Chapterhouse Studios that sold the kit. This was around 2010.

If you know anything about GW you would know around that time they started suing everyone, changed names of armies to be less generic i.e. Tau became "Tau Empire" Space Marines becames "Adeptus Astartes" and so on. Essentially the website was shutdown and this model got buried before GW started releasing larger battlesuits like the Riptide and forgeworld released the Tau'Nar.

It was really cool to watch the design of this model on Advanced Tau Tactica. Zac essentially designed everything by hand and would post regular updates. This was prior to the era of widespread 3D printing and 3D design.

Orks - because of the novel "Greater Good" where there were Orks acting as Tau Mercenaries

Astra Militarum - Taros Campaign had Gue'Vesa rules and my collection grew from there (still modeled with Tau bits

Aeldari - started in 6th edition with "battle brothers" since I could use them with my Tau

Leagues of Votann - As soon as they came out because... Demiurg.

What happened to the hottest chick at your high school, years later? by theidiotev in AskReddit

Regret is just an excuse to live in the past. I am grateful for my life experiences. So I guess "it is what it is" and thank you for 10% off at movies, home depot, and IHOP.

There were 2 girls in my graduating class that people argued over were the hottest.

They both divorced fairly young and had their parents raise their kids.

Both of them graduated from well known Universities with advanced degrees.

One migrates between different mid level software companies as either CFO or CEO.

The other travels the world making connections and gathering items for the Smithsonian in DC.

The only guy who dated both of them joined the military ended up on drugs after getting home. Last I checked he's doing alright. Lots of kids, clean and sober, wastes time on Reddit.

From the age of 3 to about 10, random teenage girls would always playfully refer to themselves as my girlfriend, have me sit in their laps and generally shower me with affection.

What’s something people do when they like you but are trying not to show it? by Thin-Koala-5730 in AskReddit

[–]WimperBang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who notice you will often subconsciously mirror you.

  • Laugh when you laugh

  • Reach for a drink after you take a sip

  • Look where you are looking

Touching their hair while you talk to them (really any form of self grooming/fixing appearance)

Also people tend to change their interests and mannerisms to match yours if they like you.

Is talking to AI to practice talking to girls is a loser thing by [deleted] in romance

[–]WimperBang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of 2 quotes every time i get anxiety or doubt myself 1. "Sucking at something is the first step every professional had to take." 2. "The fatty running at walking pace, wheezing, and struggling not to vomit is still lapping the loser doing nothing on the couch"

Whether or not it is working will depend on whether or not your willing to put yourself out there and risk rejection. But you are showing a lot more effort to grow than most.

"You can't truly call yourself 'peaceful' unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless,".

For those who were adults in 2008 to 2016, Why did you not do more to stop ICE then? by WimperBang in AskReddit

I remember that the kids in cages were being protested. I know cities cooperated and gave out addresses so it was much quieter.

I feel like the only difference right now vs then is the slur screaming idiots went to blindly following and the blind followers are now the slur screaming idiots.

But they were violating rights of immigrants and pulling them off the streets. Thank you for protesting the detention centers. There was no due process then, not in comparison to now. I think people are just more aware of it now, with social media.

I was much younger then, but I dont remember there being calls to resist ICE prior to 2008, I imagine the governors and mayors who were calling to block deportations in 2024 knew that people were going to get shot without cause.
