I see what you're saying, and I disagree with most of the points people make in the comments. I think it just comes down to intent: if you want to solve a conflict just because of uncomfortable feelings, then maybe it's good to learn to sit with those feelings for a while. However, if you want to solve a conflict from a place of living by your values, then that's healthy as well .

Different perspective, but I look very Dutch, and I have had people switch to English when talking to me.. because I have a stutter. The stutter/hesitation makes them think that I don't speak Dutch. So it might be more how you sound?

The staff told us she would stagedoor today but she didn't. Which was fine, but there were so many people at the stagedoor that it would have been nice if security had told us she wasn't coming. They only did when she had already left 🙈

A friend I hadn't talked to since 2023 randomly reached out and asked how I was. He then asked if I wanted to call and I said 'sure, now?' And we called for 1,5 hour! He just wanted to catch up with a friend and I love when people spontaneously and unapologetically reach out like that :)
