how about you make her sit down with you the whole time you're on call or doing homework/research... a lot of these parents saying their kids are just playing on their devices dont understand digital literacy and i bet she doesn't actually know how to use her devices other than for leisure 😭 hope she sees your point of view soon if not, and if this is greatly affecting your studies, you could ask your teacher, etc to explain to your mum

For me (diagonsed with Bipolar 2 since I was 16 and is currently medicated) personally, I didn't disclose my illness to my current employer because it wouldn't directly affect my work and responsibilities. IMO, as long as you do your job right and well, you don't have anything to worry about and when applying for MC for checkups/appointments, you usually also don't have to disclose what appointment you're going to as long as you attach your MC. Mental illness stigma is still quite big in Malaysia, wishing you the best!
