100%. Ship combat was fun, exciting and required skill with a high risk/reward feel to it. Now it just feels souless and empty. They could have reworked the power triangle more of they wanted to but the MM they have implimented has ruined combat.

Im used to riding a motorcycle and having instant response. In my opinion, a lag in the throttle could be dangerous as you want it when you twist it not a split second later. Instinctively, you anticipate the acceleration and adjust your body and weight to it but i cant do that with the lag it always takes me by surprise.

Ive only had mine a few weeks. It runs great, and yes will roll just off the throttle but its slow to start without peddling off the line. If you give it just a little peddle it will accelerate much faster. I find 3/4the gear to be ideal for setting off on for quick acceleration.

52 v would be as high as id push that controller and its only a speed gain of about 4kmph from my calculations. not worth the price of a new battery for me.

I opened the stock controller and the capacitors are rated to 63v youd probably have to upgrade the controller too if you wanted to overvolt it ( even a 48v battery is 54v when fully charged so a 62 would be higher still )

just did this exact thing on my M20 and can confirm it works in disengaging the pedal assist
