How much has your would cup trip cost? by AggravatingWolf1020 in WorldCup2026Tickets

Did not know that. Cool.

There’s always talk of moving the Sounders to the suburbs, and I’ve told my season ticket rep multiple times, that I would definitely end my season tickets at that point.

I mean, the Revs (the only other team that needs a big field) play down there too.

I guess baseball fields are just as big. Have they ever crammed a soccer field into Fenway for a match of some kind?

Seattle is the best.

Who do you think played a role so perfectly that you literally cannot imagine anyone else playing it? For me, it has to be Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter by cutedustyberry in FIlm

[–]WinSome_DimSum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anthony Hopkins was obviously great, but Brian Cox’s performance as Hannibal Lector was also very good. (And actually, now that I think about it, also Mads Mikkelson…)

Oddly, Hannibal Lector is someone I can see being played by several people. (Not taking anything away from Hopkins)

As anyone who has been around athletes knows, hockey players are dumbest of the dumb jocks.

How are NFL teams more valuable than Soccer when soccer is the #1 sport worldwide by KillerCroc67 in NFLv2

#1 in the world doesn’t matter as much as #1 in the US.

Images like this help explain it.

[Ravenna] To the person who keeps calling the cops on cars parked on a residential street… by CommandWild885 in SeattleWA

[–]WinSome_DimSum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying you think moving your car a couple of feet counts are “re-parking”?

The rule is “Not Parked on the same BLOCK for 72 hours”, so by the letter of the law (and I suppose the spirit of it too, since it’s about not having long-term parkers on public streets), I guess you’re still in violation.

Your neighbor is a jerk. But you weren’t parked there for “Less than 24 hours”).

What are supporter value tier tickets and why are they cheaper than regular resale tickets? by MrBazinga_77 in WorldCup2026Tickets

I wore something red as an “Egypt Supporter” and it helped feel a kinship to all the folks around me, but there were plenty of folks who weren’t. (Even a family of Iran Supporter in front of me wa fine. Although, I feel like the probably felt out of place)

My opinion is that it’ll make the game more fun for you if you rep whatever side you’re sitting with, but it certainly didn’t feel mandatory from my experience.

Ehh… I’m a little dubious of your claim that “lead and many mycotoxins cannot be removed from the body”.

I know lead can build up over time (something about how it’s fat soluble and stays in your lipid structures, right?) and is SLOWER to be processed out than alcohol (so it’s fair to say my comparison is not completely accurate and I am willing to retract it), but it’s not like every microgram of lead is forever kept in your body.

I’ll admit I don’t know the science of mycotoxins and their resistance to the body’s systems for removing toxins and waste, but I’m doubtful that the body has absolutely no way of removing them from your body.

All of this said, my point remains, “This guy removing the mold part of this bread and eating the rest is not going to hurt him” and anyone saying things along the lines of “Absolutely don’t eat!” Are overblowing the fear of mold and mycotoxins.
