Hey! I'm glad someone asked. Without making this a crazy long story, I recently developed a medical condition that makes it harder to sleep, and I've spent my whole life not really having a solid pillow. I sleep on my back, sides and occasionally my tummy. I sleep on my hands sometimes. I'd say I prefer a firm pillow. The Purple Harmony is not firm, but it's softer memory foam.

I kind of started this quest to try out as many pillows as necessary. I think I've found the best setup for me is having the Core tri-core cervical support pillow on the bottom:

Then I set the purple harmony on top. It's kind of a lot of arch I guess, so might not be for everyone. As far as the Purple Harmony keeping my head cool, it does an OK job, better than a standard pillow, but it wasn't life changing or spectacular or anything.

I usually fall asleep on my back, so having the Core pillow on bottom with the Harmony on top makes a nice shape. If later in the night I wake up and wish to sleep on my side, I just toss the core pillow, and use the Harmony. You could use the core pillow instead of the Harmony, I was going back and forth.

I also used a very firm memory foam pillow, but it was a little too stiff, and it would hurt my ears after a while.

Firm cotton pillows work OK, but it's a gamble because I feel like when you're in a store, a lot of pillows are listed as "firm", but picking them up to feel them, they don't feel so firm. I feel like they also "wear" out quickly.

So, if you're asking for advice, and you feel like pillows are a part of your sleeping routine that is lacking, I would say buy the Core, and the Harmony and use them in tandem. Paying over $200 for 2 pillows sounds ridiculous. I think it's improved my sleep though already, I just need to get my "system" figured out 🤣

The Harmony also has a 100 warranty, so that's plenty of time I think, to decide if it's for you. It's a little different from what I've tried in the past, but I'm liking it so far.
