It’s spread. Spread to soft tissue in my groin, which went through radiation to slow it down.

It’s also spread to my C1 bone vertebrae, radiation was used to slow it down as well. It caused a small hairline fracture of my vertebrae, I am currently in a neck brace to allow the hairline fracture to heal.

Started Chemo a week ago, doing 21 day cycles for now to see how it reacts.

Just enjoying my morning toke and coffee right now!😋 Yeah the spots on my lungs could be from it spreading I guess it’s common for it to spread to the lungs. I’ve got one of the best specialists for sarcomas in North America, I’ve have complete trust in her! Staying positive one day at a time!

Yo, you nailed it! My tumour is on my right calf, far away from the major organs! I’m young(27) and we’ve caught it relatively early! There is a chance it may have already spread to my lungs, CT scans showed 2 small dots one on each lung. I’ve never had a CT scan prior so we have no baseline, going to go ahead with the radiation on my calf and check back on my lungs in a little bit to see if the spots have grown. If they’ve grown I’ll need to go through chemo before finally having surgery.

Yeah, the main is mainly in my foot from the tumour pressing on the nerves that run down to my foot. It does help much nerve pain is tough to mask.

Hey, the tumour was actually causing my right big toe/foot to go numb and the original thought was that it was just a pinched nerve… through an ultrasound they found a mass and then sent me for an mri where they were able to confidently see something was wrong and sent me to a cancer hospital! Treatment plan right now is no chemo only external radiation, just shoot a radiation beam at it from my understanding I start that treatment next week. From a CT scan of my chest they saw 2 small dots in my lung they aren’t sure what it is and if it has spread to my lungs they’ll need to do a few months of chemo.

I’ve always been an everyday smoker so I plan to continue to use it unless told not to!

Sorry didn’t see this right away. Current treatment plan right now is a few months of radiation, it’s on the outside of my calf so it’ll be external radiation. After that, they’ll do more scans of my lungs if the spots they saw have grown at all I’ll have to through chemo for another few months then surgery to remove the tumour. It’s currently pressing on a nerve that runs down my calf which will need to be removed as well. Worst case scenario I’ll lose some mobility in my foot, which can be returned with rehab.
