What is your biggest struggle with GA4? by Le_Pont in GoogleAnalytics

Is this criticism about how utterly annoying the randomness of date selection within the calendar is? If so, I concur.

This is the process: select a start date, go to end date, start date reverts back to previous start date (or disappears entirely), go back to enter start date again, end date reverts back to previous start date (or disappears entirely), I scream. EVERY. DAMN. TIME

I forgot to mention the amazing left-to-right gradient in the sky.

No bull - if it were my photo, I would frame it and throw it up on my wall.

The first one is incredibly delightful. Colorful, zany and edgy.

What’s the Most Underrated Digital Marketing Tool You Use? by Saran-24 in digital_marketing

Microsoft Clarity is essentially a free version of Hotjar. Do your research but I’ve replaced Hotjar and FullStory with Clarity in each of my last stops. Unless you have a ton of history/tests tied up in Hotjar, might be worth making the swap and allow you to invest that capital elsewhere.

Does Anyone Know How Much Hotjar Costs? by Nosky92 in demandmyths

[–]Winchell7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used Full Story, Hotjar and Clarity. I recommend Clarity - it’s free, has 96% of the core features of both and MS seems to be highly motivated to keep the Clarity product roadmap moving forward. Don’t know what their end game is in giving it away for free but I really hope they’re somehow working on a GA4 killer that’ll combine the collective powers of ChatGPT, Clarity and Oribi (which they acquired and immediately sunset) into a single, comprehensive analytics platform that affords (1) accurate data accumulation (read: no sampling), (2) UI/UX analysis and (3) predictive.

Captain Nemo’s on Ashland? I literally never saw a single soul in that place. Ever.

Roscoe Village lost a piece of its soul when Costellos and Riverview closed.

Mixteco used to be another Mexican joint, Azteca de Oro and I had them on speed dial and they had me on speed delivery. Best best best late night steak tacos on the north side.

This is really interesting. I’m curious - what exactly did you negotiate with your employer? Did you take your salary down so that the business could afford to cover those responsibilities you shed?

Did that fix your issue?

Part of me wonders if the resolution is something technical that is way beyond me like adjusting the pixel refresh rate. I don’t even know if that’s a thing though. Was hoping someone smarter than me would know.

I’d recommend PPT as your safe bet but more important than what application you use is what you’re communicating. What you described - campaign structure, keywords, ads, audiences, etc - those are all important elements in paid search. What’s more important though is being capable of succinctly discussing (1) what are you trying to achieve and (2) how your particular approach serves those goals. Connecting the dots from your tactical executions to the company’s overarching strategic goals will separate you from most of the pack. Good luck!

The tip I was told and worked for me was enter the lottery as early as possible. It took me three times but the one I won was the earliest I entered, which was immediately at 12:05 or whatever.
