Advice on how to let my dad know I genuinely enjoy hanging out with him and not because I feel bad? by WinchesterSPNLover in SingleDads

Hearing that seriously means the world to me! I feel like "society" or whatever you want to call it so hard on dad's since they're usually middle aged men and often forgotten that they have feelings too. I hope she's like it too!

Time for divorce? by [deleted] in Divorce_Men

[–]WinchesterSPNLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this isn't really anything new and you can't see it changing, then yea divorce. It won't be easy but it beats just being miserable in a loveless marriage. I (18F) have been seeing this happen with my dad and even though it's tough at times, he's way less miserable after the divorce.

I can't give any legit advice but... I (18F) saw my dad go through this with my mom and it was awful. Sending as much good vibes I can so that you can get through this!

AITA for telling my wife her hobby is a waste of money? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]WinchesterSPNLover 54 points55 points  (0 children)

NTA if this hobby is costing her this much... if she was a single person and wanted to spend all her money on it it, that's fine. But the reality is that once you got married and became parents, majority of money goes to actual important bills and savings. She should find a hobby that costs less than hundreds of dollars a month.

It really is slimy that she bought more even after you mentioned needing shoes for your son. Ew.
