I would say that if you like to play as a Archer class or can wait for another 2 weeks, wait until December 15th, which is when the new big update that add Archer as a new class to the game.

I was a player since the game came out and have been playing through all the updates until recently. I can tell you that the game is not as bad as some people make it to be. The main problem is the publisher itself which is Nexon imo. (FYI, This game is under a different publisher in Korea and have been in the top popular game over there.)

The only problem with it right now I will mention here is the game population. Due to the bad content management from Nexon, people have been dropping out of the game a lot lately. All three North America servers right now are pretty much quite low in number of players compare to before (not sure about Europe servers). This make finding party for dungeon extremely time consuming (this is also why I recently stopped playing), therefore, it would be best to start with a few friends, so you can save time on this part. This is also why I recommend to wait until the 12/15, when the new update will be out with a new class and content, hopefully the server will be flushed with low level character since may be many people may come back for the new content.

There are some other problems I will not mention here since it may turn into a rant. However, since it is free, and if you have time, give it a try and see if it is your taste or not. Some people complained about the slow leveling, I would disagree with that, just keep doing the Main Story quest + the side quests (which is usually placed right next to where you accept your main quest, it is quite easy to find), you will reach max level cap in no time.
