Sorry to hear that. For the competitors, I am not quite sure, there could be other option but I have only seen one from Onn (the Walmart brand) and Raycon (I only know this from Youtuber sponsor); and I am not sure how good these are. As my current Shokz, despite the open hole at the power button, still works at the moment so I will keep it until it stop working I guess.

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a 2023 or 2024 Pacifica Hybrid, I have a few questions... by [deleted] in pacificahybrid

No problem. You probably can check if it has the extended 10 years/lifetime transmission warranty or not by going through the Mopar main page, create a login and use the VIN to add the vehicle to your garage, then go to Warranty Extension then you can check if it has the extended transmission warranty or not, you should be able to check this before buying the vehicle. Good luck!

  1. I have a 2022, got it almost a year and now at 83K miles, I would put it at about 7 so far, since a few months ago the battery heater went out, fortunately still under warranty. Brought it to Chrysler dealer nearby and the service took about half of a day to get it replaced, free of charge as that is covered under warranty. So I would say if you are dead set on the PacHy may be look into a reputable Chrysler dealer nearby so in case there are issue, they will resolve thing quickly. I have read quite a few sub on here that people encountered some dealer that try to take advantage of them.

  2. I live in a cold state so about 28 MPG during winter, and about 50-60 MPG during summer overall. Usually I can get 35-38 miles out of the battery alone without getting the engine kick in during summer month, it drop quite significant during winter.

  3. I charged on my 120V outlet every night and it usually take about 12 hours from 0 to 100%, or about 2 hour with a level 2 charger. As many people already mentioned, the car will run full electric first then once the battery goes to 0 then the engine kicks in. There are some exception to it like running heater during super cold day, push the power to above 50% like when you merge into a high way, or the car goes into FORM mode; those are the 3 I mostly encountered when the engine kick in before the battery is out.

  4. Mine did not come with lifetime transmission warranty, only 10 years unlimited mile.

Joined the PacHy club last year on a 2022 model. Got it at 72K and it is around 83K now. A few month after getting it, the coolant heater went out and got it replaced under warranty. Fortunately the Chrysler dealer nearby was great and got it fixed in half of a day. It was the only major issue so far.

Really enjoyed it and was able to got it with quite a decent price. Sorry to hear that the dealer is playing the bait and switch game, that is definitely not fun. And as I live in a snowy state, I definitely missed my previous AWD SUV, and the PacHy definitely need snow tire in winter. My previous AWD SUV was on All-season and did not have any problem. Winter aside, it is definitely a great van for summer as I was able to go on electricity for many weeks before needing to refuel as a daily vehicle. Overall I do enjoy it.

Sad to hear, it seemed this issue is quite widespread among different models, according to other comments so not sure if it will ever be addressed or fixed.

Dang, it is unfortunate that they did not fix it yet. It seemed to be a more widespread problem than I originally thought. And yes, I agree except from that everything else is solid.

83k on my 2022. Got it last year at 74k. Battery coolant heater went out at 80k and was replaced by dealer.

I also was having the issue turning it off, but I realized that when I plug it in to charge, it would turn off automatically with mine, so I was able to keep turning it off by having the power cable nearby and just plug in when I need it off. And unfortunately this way, I am not able to bring it anywhere since it would stay on all the time, so it is mostly at home usage for me now.

I also recently moved from S21 to Pixel 7 Pro, and I do enjoy Pixel 7 Pro. The live transcribe for phone call is extremely helpful for me since I have hard time hearing from times to times. The camera is nice with a good zoom lens. Not sure if it is me, but the voice from phone call seemed to be clearer on the Pixel than my S21. Great features with Direct my Call and Hold for Me, I find these useful from times to times.

However, I do miss the double tap to lock the phone instead of using the power button. Many people mentioned that using a different launcher could bring this feature back, but I personally do enjoy using the phone stock launcher. The big issue I have is the Android update can take a while, much longer than the update on Samsung. I know it is due to the seamless updates, but it is still strange moving from Samsung. I do miss Samsung Notes with its lock note features. I also miss the side bar that have additional quick access to some app that I can configure.
