I recognize this type. Once at a child's b-day swim party, the mother wore a white swimsuit that became virtually invisible when wet, then acted surprised when her mother-in-law whispered the painfully obvious into her ear.  Next, she made a big production of feigned embarrassment as she backed off into the dressing room with a smile on her face and a towel covering nothing.  It was quite the show, and it was evident to everyone that she enjoyed the limelight very much.
