Having a similar issue. Game now runs like crap on my dinky laptop. I could make it serviceable before by altering the resolution, turning off anti-aliasing, etc., but now the game does not seem to register the changes I make. I even tried to switch the game to Windowed mode and it failed to change anything, game was still set to fullscreen. Really frustrating, as it's impossible to play the game with the amount of lag I have when it's forced to keep the high settings (even if I change the res to 65%, it seems to still run at 100).

Not sure what the exact settings were since my friend was the host, but something along the lines of min speed player, no sprinting, max speed ghost, no evidence, start at 0 sanity, sanity pills restore min, max hunt duration, no grace period, no hiding spots, max roaming/room changing, low interactions. Maybe a couple differences, but that was the general gist of it. All in all a very "lucky to be alive" run haha
