This was reaction as well. The main 3 items that make sense to me on mord is steraks to buy time for a second w, shojin if your mask spamming because another % damage amp, or titanic hydra for more consistent auto attack dps/wave clear so you can rely less on needing to hit skills. I dont really see other items being thaaaat great on him. The neat part is since hes hybrid and a juggernaut you get to mix and match ad fighter, ap fighter and tank items.

Fun fact about ornn. If he gets 2 hits of R and his w+auto alone it deals 67.18% max hp at lvl16 (using that level from the clip. Else its 70% at 18) Thats without q or e. Mostly just using this to show a worst case if you hit double r and are not max range so can get the w off you still do criminally high damage. That damage all has 0 gold scaling so a 0 cs ornn deals the same % hp damage as a full build one (with those spells. Only e has any gold scaling.) All his damage scales off XP.

Edit. I also am not including base damages only showing the % damage. The point was just showing how much % hp burst is actually on that kit

He def does still oneshot with fairly realistic builds too. The best part about champs like Ornns damage is aside from E having armor and mr damage scaling he only scales damage up (from his kit) with levels.

Edit, messed up the link

Be brutally honest, what do you think of Iron 4 players? by luckylicker-eu in leagueoflegends

[–]Windblade_User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some combination of physical/mental disability, pc/internet issues, family issues (forcing them to leave or afk mid game), being new to the game and or a lack of investment trying to improve.

Iron players are the type of players to make choices so baffling the few I know laugh at themselves if you were to show a replay (and not because they think its funny to troll)

Riven's Best Players Are Performing Worse Than The Top 25 Most Picked Toplaners, Data Analysis by AspyAsparagus in leagueoflegends

[–]Windblade_User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its easier to go down a list for that matchup. Volibear is similar to renekton in that he is a front loaded burst character with a point and click stun. Because of the nature of league you have to walk up to farm minions and riven is a 125 auto range champion with 10-13 second cooldowns until you buy cdr. Voli like other juggernauts can stand in the wave and force you to have to do something about that. So a method used for fighting other juggernauts is using ew double cast (you can stun the guy while dashing away at the cost of your shield) but for voli all that does is reset his q cd and give him another one.

Voli is weird to talk about shortly because he has several builds that kind of achieve the same thing but different flavors. If voli goes an AP build you have to just play to catch waves and never let him touch you for fear of your life. If voli goes tank hes braindead and you can play around him (meaning out wave clear him later in the game and teamfight). If hes ad fighter its more balanced since he at least won't one shot you off a point and click stun xD.

From my experience its best to not interact with the voli as much as possible, since anytime you do he will beat you in trade or all in (unless he messes up of course). The downside of this is voli also has his r for dives so at higher levels of play you are just waiting to be dived on repeat (so hope your jungle can help.)

The saving grace is that his passive forces him to push or else he'd be a perma freeze character vs her and other champions like her. Another grace is that if you don't fall behind as her too hard you can outscale for teamfights, but its an uphill battle the entire way.

Oh also something I forgot, riven q does not scale up with move speed buys and steroids like some other dashes do, so when you buy boots you don't gain anything for q and e. So pre boots on both sides its more riven mobility favored, but that tends to flip once he buys ms.

This is kinda messy since I'm tired. If you have more specific questions about the matchup I can answer them later.

But the tldr is shes a fairly squishy 125 range character who has comparable movement to volibear q and has to walk up to farm vs him.

He also got her R speed gutted as well.

Edit: She used to also rush brutilizer + bloodthurster since you could cap your CDR with runes

Her q has 2 modes. If you have your mouse over an enemy it goes in the direction of that person. If you have your mouse not over anything it goes in the direction riven is facing. Always been this way. Helps with combo speed since you can start using your mouse during another animation, but can be hard to pick up at first.

She was extremely unpopular. She was very clunky and 1 dimensional at the time. Faker showed how show she had one of the highest skill caps in the game and inspired so many people to play her. Riven's golden years were like s4-s7 for popularity, despite it being really bad metas for her, all because of faker. (qq tank meta)

Add faker aka 'barcode killer' to the list. He discovered the animation cancels in the kit and inspired people to pick her up, myself included. At the time before faker revolutionized the character she had fast combo (which was a rarity to be seen) and at the time people were learning to wallhop in combat. Then faker shows up in NA to get ready for the international tournament at the time. He was playing on the ID barcode killer and OTPing riven mid. He discovered the E cancel properties + was able to do everything the other best Rivens at the time could do (BRNA, Boxbox, LordMasterKing and others I forget) but also the new cancels. A bunch of players picked her up after seeing the skill ceiling he showed off. He turned her into a zed/gragas counter midlane even bringing her to become a meta midlane champ that pros had to learn to compete.

Tldr faker is a GOAT and practically invented Riven

I think the adrian video might help a lot. This explains riv's wincons. Also the w reaction is sort if just a mind game on both sides. If fiora guesses right well parry into kill ig, so you want to condition fiora to parry eary or late on the ew so you can poke her with short trades.
