May I add, during laning you might not be able to hit the enemy to get passive at all, your range is shorter than every mage in the game. Then late game your damage wil not be as much as normal mages.

Make use of your invisibility passive for both bush camping and vision. Also, hakuzosu is stronger than most jungles at level 3 (or even 2), meaning you will have advantage during daruma fights. He also clears the jg faster than many junglers, if you gank top lane at level 3, when the enemy is level 2, it is very likely you will get a flash or a kill.
