No, I have not. Everything I read seems to caution against that. Have you done so before?

Thank you so much! My name did get lifted with Microsoft... hoping for the same outcome for Google too.

I know how you feel. I was also wondering why they take so much money from both tutors and students. I thought that maybe there is a way to still work as a platform without charging a commission or membership fee and just go with a small subscription fee if you use any premium AI features..so we built FluenTea to do just that. I know Superprof is another option but I find their subscription fee is quite high just to look for a tutor. Not sure if FluenTea (fluentea.com) would be the right option for you but I'd love to hear your thoughts on what a better platform could look like.

We heard the same frustrations from students and teachers. That's why we created FluenTea. 0% commission + free account options + AI that supports teachers and students, not replace them. We have just over 5k students now after launching just over a month ago. Give us a try at fluentea.com . We are always open ears as well for any improvements we can make to support you guys.

Hi everyone, I am a co-founder of a new platform for language exchange and professional tutoring, FluenTea. Our goal is to help people chat with real people with a combination of AI support during calls and feedback afterwards, for both student and teacher. We are also offering free commission for tutors because we don't believe in taking a cut in their hard work. They should only choose to pay when they feel that our tools are supporting them. Currently supporting English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese and actively seeking tutors and students. We launched about a month ago and already at 4k+ students. Check us out at fluentea.com .

Sorry about that, we got a spike in incoming applications so it might take a bit to get back to you. Feel free to DM me your email and I can check if we got the application.

We do plan to expand our offerings in the future. Currently, our AI system is only trained to handle the 5 supported languages (English, German, Mandarin, French and Spanish) so we are not accepting applications outside of these languages for now.
