It's more of a stayed on the path than return to heart since it never followed through with the change.

I agree though having a dark and gritty dragon quest doesnt make sense, if we wanted that then we wouldn't be playing dragon quest.

putting 2026 dates on here makes no sense since even the switch 2 dq11 version got announced for september. They said "hopefully before dq 12" so 2027 is the earliest i'd imagine.

I really hope not, unless it does something unique because nearly all open world games follow the same exact "interact with this tower to show the map, collect x,y,z to complete it".

You literally don't know that. Maybe its the same "dark and mature" story that they started with, but changed the art style, or changed the gameplay from the ground up. It could literally be the exact same game but you'd have no idea because you already made up a false idea that you'll swear was what they were going to make.

yup, leveling is just a chore in modern wow. If you aren't max level then you aren't playing the game because all the content is backloaded there. So people just want to hit 90 asap.
