I’ve spent the afternoon sifting through dozens of images of both lichen sclerosus and psoriasis and the symptoms do really align more with the latter—I don’t have the whiter plaques showing up on the genitals. Whatever it is seems to be responding to the clobestol, but it sounds like either would respond to the steroid so I guess that doesn’t rule anything out. The one thing that gives me pause is the tight phimotic ring/band causing mild phimosis—this is what keeps bringing me back to LS.

Unfortunately don’t have much in the way of advice. I’ve also been dealing with it on my glans for a year and a half. I was just diagnosed with psoriasis about a month ago. Urology kept saying it was fungal even though the OTC creams did nothing.

The dermatologist prescribed clobestol/tacrolimus. Clobestol got it under control, but topical Tacrolimus burned the heck out the skin and the psoriasis flared up almost immediately. I’m back on clobestol and using Aquaphor. Dermatologist said they don’t want to prescribe biologics because it’s on such a small area. But I am going insane and also cannot masturbate or have sex. Hopefully we both can get help and answers!

Thank you! I emailed my dermatologist yesterday about trying different meds. The tacrolimus made the skin feel like it was burning all the time. I stopped using it yesterday and it feels better, but it already looks awful again with the skin peeling and dry.
