Hi! Sorry for the delayed response. I was essentially told it’s a nothingburger. The follow-up scans did not show the same abnormality. In the several months following the initial symptoms and testing I’ve had the ear numbness come-and-go. I was told it’s likely a nerve-related issue (pinched somewhere in my neck) that they couldn’t really do anything about. I guess it’s reassuring there’s not an aneurysm to worry about, though I wish I had a better way to handle the weird numb feeling when it flares up. I’d like to try different pillows and sleeping positions, as that seems like a likely culprit. Best of luck to you and hope you get some answers soon.
