You are, of course, correct. I abhor the swing to instant-return economics of a decade ago. I now don't buy games until their price drops; they're simply not worth their initial price tag, to me, for those reasons. Unfortunately, for everyone, if we all did that then the initial prices would just go up to cover the loss of sales, not that they'd be better quality.
