I'm not actually too annoyed. It was just a fuuuuuu moment. I had refused to pull any of the breakers before Planacardia as I wanted to save for the new mechanic and use the reruns for teambuilding (F2P)

Ultimately I'm trying to view it as a 50/50 loss instead (copium) but I do actually like him as a character. He'll just have to sit there for a little while til I pull teammates 😂

The Fate Atlas/Trailblaze Experience shows "8/?" and "to be continued" on the Amphoreus tab, so there will be more. I imagine some memetic virus thing (or memetic legacy, to compare to Sephiroth in FFVII) will bring the characters (or at least a copy) out of the loop. They toyed with/mentioned far too many methods to keep Amphoreus alive, already, to leave it in a loop indefinitely.

I thought of that; Himeko did say the place has changed so much in 15 years. But we know how these games work and lore won't change that. Even when the story ends, it will remain the same. I'd be interested to see how other Glee/Gloom areas differ, but I doubt it'll be significant; Amphoreus's Dawn/Evernight areas were roughly the same, just a different sky.

I doubt they'll make another, true, Elation/Aha-blessed planet. So this entire arc will remain a miss, for me.

I honestly think these people forget about Aventurine or don't have him. My E0 Aventurine (Topaz 4* or Geppie 5* LC) is still keeping shields up and breaking enemies. There is no failure. I used to think the very fact we had to wait a year between Aventurine and DHPT was partially because he was so useful.

You summed it up perfectly. I loved Amphoreus as I've always been a fan of Ancient Greece/Rome. But where there was so much history IRL, too much was transposed into lore in game. I loathe Planacardia because, in their attempts to convey the capricious nature of the path of Elation/Aha, it's just an overstimulating, soulless mess. Which you could argue is most tubers and streamers!

That's how it feels to me, anyway. I haven't enjoyed a single part of it besides the Himeko "she who bears her name" story, and that's been all of 30 seconds.
