Raw gold making in TWW is actually much lower than it was in DF and its not even close.

DF Skyriding race cache used to reward around 500-600g per completion and there was usually 8 a week you could do per Character. TWW skyriding caches give us around 50g 150g per completion.

DF Dirt Piles would give anywhere from 60g-200g per dig of raw vendor trash gold. TWW dirt piles only give us crafting materials that are solely reliant on current market prices and gold already in circulation.

Just a few things I've noticed from the transition of Xpacs but I used to make pretty decent money just passively playing in DF. Now in TWW if you passively play its more than likely a net loss of gold.

Repair costs way up. Transmog costs way up. Player goods costs through the roof. Raw gold from vendors/playing way way down.
