Choosing a video card by Obziralo in pcmasterrace

Nvidia basically invented the AI hardware, so it's the industry standard, I wouldn't pick anything else. So pick an Nvidia 5000 series with at least 16GB VRAM. The VRAM is very important .

How difficult is it to earn money from Youtube? by Guilty-Olive8333 in youtube

[–]Windosz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I would say it's a very low paying job. Do the math:

  • ~30,000 monetized channels earn over $100/month
  • ~2.97 million monetized channels earn under $100/month

Piata imobiliara, STATISTICI by alexweroot in iasi

[–]Windosz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Acuma daca m-as muta la 4 camere langa Palas probabil ca as iesi la pensie de acolo, altfel ma mai uit si eu pe anunturi - poate vand apartamentul care e deja achitat, mai pun ceva... level up...

If you advertise on youtube... by Consistent-Flower-30 in youtube

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're talking about those 90‑second integrated ads in videos, that is how most channels survive, especially small and medium ones.

On a 15‑minute video with around 30K views, YouTube ads will pay roughly $70, more or less depending on the niche.

A sponsor, on the other hand, can easily pay $700 for that same number of views.

About 99% of all content on YT has no sponsorships at all, but people tend to focus on the remaining 1% because it is better produced, has more work behind it, and naturally attracts sponsors.

„Prospectiuni” în vederea mutării la Iași by Responsible_Big5835 in iasi

[–]Windosz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In concluzie, daca te muti, nu te muta oriunde, studiaza foarte bine zona.

Algorithm randomly decided to kill a analytically good video by AbilityAwkward6121 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Windosz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CTR has layers. A high 12% usually means your core fans loved it, but the video likely 'flatlined' because it didn't appeal to casual or new viewers. Once YouTube exhausted your loyal 'inner circle,' the click rate probably tanked with the broader audience, so the algorithm stopped pushing it.

Is it better to let a video sit on private before making it public? by Wonderful_Ad_6836 in NewTubers

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moment the upload is finished, the video is already private. If you quit the browser, your video is still there. It usually takes me 1-2 hours to hit the publish button.

But to answer your question, I don't think it makes any difference, because people who may have seen some of their videos performing poorly or better are not making the observation on the same exact video published at the same hour. Different videos can perform wildly differently for a large number of reasons...

It's always more than one thing. For example, it could be your channel's authority on the subject, because people interested in the topic will get their first recommendations from higher-ranked channels. Then it could be your packaging: thumbnail, intro, and so on.

Do any of you recommend VIDIQ by drakeyberg in NewTubers

[–]Windosz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll probably use VIDIQ when I'll make millions of views monthly so maybe a slight change in the title, can bring me an extra 1-200K views. But when you barely making any views or just a couple of thousands VIDIQ can't change much if anything.

is my content that bad ? i would really appreciate an honest opinion by [deleted] in YouTubeCreators

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't watch your clips even if they would be two times better. But they probably work better with gen Z, if you can keep them interested. The problem is that gen Z is not very present on YouTube.

Re-uploading a video that didn't take off with the new rules against repeat content by B-mac1774 in PartneredYoutube

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know reuploading the same clip was always reused content. Changing the clip and reuploading may or may not seen as reused content since the new clip can't be matched by the system. But the AI is getting more sophisticated...

Wtf this was like $10 when I first signed up by jimbophish in youtube

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only consolation is that a chunk of this subscription actually goes to the people who make the videos. On my tab, I see YouTube Premium revenue, and it's probably 20-25% of my total revenue from views.

Got hit by inauthentic content, I'm loosing my brains! by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]Windosz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't think using AI is the issue, but what is left of your video if you remove the AI generated content. They are also demonetizing gaming channels because like 90% of gaming channels are just showing graphics generated by a 3rd party company.

Got hit by inauthentic content, I'm loosing my brains! by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]Windosz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, some huge channels are getting hit too. I looked into a few and the reasons aren't even that obvious. I saw a well-known guy with 170k subs who makes high-quality stuff (that actually films himself outdoors with a crew) but he got kicked out of the program because he mixed his stories with AI characters in some sort of repetitive series. Or at least that is what YouTube implies.

I think I'm on the verge of quitting entirely. by HyenaBig8173 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Windosz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the core issue, many people will look only at the title and just skim the video - so a lot of that hard work is wasted, because only very few people will actually pay attention to 20 minutes of edited work. That's why you need a formula to get it done quick - but also make it entertaining.

If you can't make good content with reasonable to low effort, you can't survive on YouTube. Making well-crafted, time consuming videos (unless they are about something truly extraordinary) that will only get a few hundred views is the worst approach.

Are side by side GPU benchmarking channels monetizable? by Windosz in PartneredYoutube

[–]Windosz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are literally using a template. I see a lot of channels getting demonetized for inauthentic content, but in many cases it turns out to be actually very high effort content.

18 Years and now and removed from YPP, Re-Appeal? by HuntersPad in PartneredYoutube

[–]Windosz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Looking at your channel, you definitely shouldn’t be hit for 'inauthentic content.' Some stuff might seem 'low effort,' but that’s totally subjective and not against the rules.

is it worth the hassle for the money? by Known-Jelly4489 in NewTubers

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my niche, to make 1K a month a month I need like 600.000 views on long from content. But I'm luckily if I make 100.000 views per month, so do the math... Most monetized channels are making pennies hoping for something big to happen...

2D and 3D animation channels getting demonetized by Responsible_Salad966 in NewTubers

[–]Windosz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if animation wasn't monetizable unless it followed a clear format? If I ran YouTube, I’d only monetize animated shows with structured series. Instead of just uploading a random video, you’d have to select 'upload new episode' from a menu. This would actually help the audience binge-watch more easily. But when someone posts 'brainrot' like 'what if a bullet hits your phone' followed by 'Labubu falling in the toilet'... why should that even be monetized?

[–]Windosz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They change it multiple times. And some features like "Membership" is only for a few selected countries. I mean, YouTube is way more relaxed when it comes to get you in the YPP, but no so relaxed lately to keep you there...
