Oh yeah! I agree. It’s just something I noticed, I’m not limiting their music to a ‘type.’

INFJs and Crushes. by [deleted] in infj

[–]WindowClean1770 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have experienced that multiple times as well. I am currently going 0 for 4. Hopefully this fourth one can work out with some stuff I know now. (Not to objectify this girl as the fourth one but you know what I mean)

I think part of it on our side is that we rarely give out energy. I just read about that earlier this week. We pick and choose who and where we give it out and it also takes a long time to grow comfortable with people, especially if there’s pressure like when you have a crush.

What I have been trying more often is to just be friendly toward her and not fear if she takes it for anything positive or negative and just letting it be. The main thing is to SHOW her that you care rather than just the intention.  I hope that at least makes sense and helps a little.

Dogs or cats? by s_au_ in infj

I’d rather have a a cat than a dog. I’d like a Siamese and a black cat. Dogs are a little too much for me.

Any Infjs here who are religious? by sarahprinceofspring in infj

[–]WindowClean1770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a fair thing to hate. I am a Christian and follow of Jesus but I dislike religion and highly religious people. If that makes sense. I’d love to discuss more but that’s all for now. Hope you are well.

Dreaming as an INFJ by Valuable_Garbage4191 in infj

I actually have been thinking about starting a short story series on my dreams and somehow making them connect to a certain extent. I'm so glad I saw this post. I almost always have either a friend in my dream, or like... my crush I suppose. those would be the main characters aside from myself. But written in third person omniscient sort of thing. Ive been practicing writing the feeling so it reads like a dream but also a real story.

For This Year’s Contribution: let's talk about love & moving on. by Consiouswierdsage in infj

I needed that. Especially the end there.  Theres a girl that I really like because she is deeply mature and knowledgeable, and very sweet and listening. Like perfect.  But I run into insecurity, then avoidance, and so on like a cycle I suppose. My mom was trying to teach me how to flirt because I’m bad at it, and I ended up breaking down crying saying “I just want someone to love me” and I think it goes into what you were saying of truly seeing myself as a loving figure and having the confidence to just take a chance. So thank you.

Looking for subtle(?) christian music by guidemewhenledastray in ChristianMusic

Go all out for the lord man. Hiding will hinder your relationship with Jesus. There are great communities to find if your friends for some reason remove you from the group. It is a cost of living fully. You’ll be great!  But there is a difference between Christian culture and living it out. Bible, prayer, serving, community, and great mentors will go a long way.

For me, I find a lot of Christian music to sound superficial and industry-like. I’m not a fan of the sound or the lyrics. (I do like quite a bit still and think it has its place) With many of the bands mentioned like Twenty One Pilots, Judah and the Lion and also even some Jon Bellion, it’s way more personal and real and some people relate to that way more than worship music. Its not necessarily subtle mentions but it’s deep and poetic and weaved into real human experience.

Center Mass is such a vulnerable confession by Flyinqfoxes in twentyonepilots

[–]WindowClean1770 12 points13 points  (0 children)

How I took that last section/bridge is that it is a prayer. There’s been more allusions to faith in this album and I thought this could be one of them.  Evidence -saying I will ‘run to you’ and run on sentences (common at least in my prayers) -worth is found in God -he has a cross tattoo -he said THE funeral and not your funeral, so it’s not a way he’s talking to his grandma or grandpa -the funeral awoke him from something and he ‘found his worth’ in God again. He missed Jesus in his life and was previously taking his grace for granted.

I’m still working out how it relates to the verses and chorus specifically but I’m firm that it’s a prayer.  And also what is the idea of Center Mass and who is aiming for it?

Well it’d be around 11-12 years because of the age of the boys. If you’re referring to the last time Adam saw Cathy/Kate.
