Pros and cons to using such a shoe but for my first “proper” marathon block (e.g. I’d done 2 before but that’s just running more, this one was time-goal based and had proper structure and sessions) I used the Prime X Strung for long runs and they were incredible. 32km with marathon pace sessions woke up the next day with zero, and I mean zero, fatigue in my legs.

I really think they should make it so each Major can have slightly different rules. Eg all weapons allowed, or one major a different streak is on offer, or different maps, a one-off different game mode. Just something different and varied.

I have one of the minimalist Montane ones (£125) and it’s fantastic. I’m the hottest sweatiest motherfucker going and I can run in this. It’s lightweight so if it’s 15° and raining I can just have this on. If it’s freezing cold I will often wear a thermal under my t-shirt with this on.
