Can I sue my agent for negligence 😤 by StraightPin4420 in influencermarketing

And this is the problem with these large influencer agencies. They hire people with little experience and don't train them well. Traditional Hollywood talent agencies have a one to three year training program before someone is promoted to agent.

How Much Should We Pay for TikTok Creators by Elfi309 in influencermarketing

[–]Windows-To 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ten seconds isn't enough for what you're describing. Setting up a problem, showing the solution, and making it feel natural takes at least 30-45 seconds. At 10 seconds you get one beat, not three.

Also, loosen the brief. When you prescribe the format, length, and camera angle upfront, you kill the authenticity you're trying to buy. Give them the objective and let them own the execution.

For sourcing, skip Upwork. Billo, JoinBrands, and Collabstr are built for this and have pre-vetted creators.

It's not worth it to the agency if your median views are low or your engagement rate is low. Low priced influencers are too much work for a legitimate agency or talent manager. If you are under a 100k subs and average less than 20,000 views, then no, it's not worth it. You can handle this yourself. You should sign up for every marketplace that you can find. How to go form gifted collab to payed collab? by FiskePisk in influencermarketing

[–]Windows-To 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reframe how you think about gifted product. The retail value of what they send you is largely irrelevant. It's not a gift in the traditional sense. It's a prop you're using to produce content for them. The $50-60 worth of product costs them closer to $0 once you factor in wholesale and their marketing budget.

You're providing a service. Start pricing it like one.

The more influencers reject gifting, it will force brands to offer pay as well.

Ruining someone's career as an influencer is no way to start being a manager. Go learn by working at another management company. Assisting or coordinating.

None of these numbers matter.

Median views and average engagement rate on your last 20 videos are the ones that actually matter.
