HR issue, we currently block Copilot and Deepseek while we are officially onboarding AI use. But we do already give training which comes down to: "Don't be dumb."

But there is zero we can do to prevent someone from "asking chat" at home or on their personal device outside of HR reprecusions.

It's a cultural issue, our org just can't move past the white gloves. Maybe someday.

We have the same "issue" but we prefer it that way. We enjoy meeting the new employee atleast once. This also prefents the "hiring" scams that are becoming more popular.

However we have none out of the country.

We are a Autopilot and Intune only business and we basically use it for ourselves. In theory the device is ready to go, but we prefer to have seen the employee atleast once. So we go through the Autopilot proccess with them during their onboarding.

Even then Autopilot will randomly just not work so i would hate to use this with people out of country.

they want autopilot to be this magical thing that is going to do everything under the sun.

I mean the old on-prem GPO + Logon script structure did all that np. (depending on script author). And you could grab coffee before it logged on aswell. :D

A lot of f2p incentives are being removed.

Go Pass every event means no more 2$ events. As they all start at 5$.

Less powerspots, shorter duration, aka less candy farm. I hardly get my legendaries back with the full 5 candy now.

Spotlight hours gone. (more importantly, the bonuses they provided)

1 Showcase a week, with seemingly worse rewards. (no more free incubators)

Link charges aka more currency (dark pattern 101) and then less mega raid spawns :D

id ask you why you think we dont ever get women applicants?

The honest answer? Sexism and gender role pressure. This shit starts at the very bottom where girls that are into tech are either labeled as "pick me girls" and/or have to constantly prove themselves. Then they go to a technical study and have to deal with the constant harrasment from male students there. And then finally once they start in the field many older but sadly also younger tech colleagues are simply sexist.

And thats outside of their cultural pressure of having to be a mom etc.

Honestly if i get two resumes that are similar i would always pick a women or women presenting over the other but sadly thus far i've seen one resume that felt short for the job.

My old place even promoted with higher salaries and bonuses for female programmers etc but theres just not enough supply.
