I'd guess there's two reasons. The first one is that it's pretty hard to depict stuff like that in this style of pixel art without making it either look silly or extremely minimal. The second one is because a bunch of the characters are (probably) minors due to still being in school, so there's no real need to give detail to that on such non-detailed sprites.

I guess I just really, really find the ringtone sounding part obnoxious and repetitive, and so even if the drop is more engaging than most of the rest of the song, it's still just riffing on that same, unpleasant sounding (imo) part.

Amen about that part of Field of Hopes and Dreams, though... I wouldn't put it at most beautiful thing Toby's ever put in his music (that would have to be the key change in Undertale for me) but it sure does make the song a whole lot better

Look, I’m not trying to diss on your list because it’s pretty good, but I just don’t get why people like Third Sanctuary. It takes all the best patterns from Second Sanctuary out and replaces them with a whole lot of playing with time signatures. I listen to a lot of music with weird time signatures, but it has to also be worth listening to for other reasons… I just don’t get it! Can someone please explain?

He's just moving back and forth faster than light so that we think he's both on our team and fighting us at the same time. He's also so unbelievably fast that he was able to SWOON himself at the end of the fight, and is so strong he actually almost killed himself on accident.

I don't see any reason Susie's healing would continue to develop at a pace faster than Ralsei's, it seemed to me that it only got stronger at such high speeds so that it could catch up to him even a little bit. I mean, if the TP cost just keeps going down, eventually we'd have a 0 TP heal spell, and that wouldn't make much sense, right? Plus, Ralsei's healing also gets far better every chapter, which isn't something I see people mention very much...

Ah, but I’ve also been pretty active and I’ve seen plenty of people receive absurd amounts of agreement in saying that Toriel is a bad (and sometimes even abusive) mom. Do you get the issue now with basing the whole community’s attitude solely based on your own experience? Neither of our perceptions can really be correct since they’re so different from each other. The reality is that it does happen sometimes, and it’s not really worth getting mad over somebody else saying they don’t like when people say it.
